The Commodity Futures and Trading Commission CFTC has initiated investigations on the role the international banking cartels in driving up oil prices. We have known all along that deregulation of the global financial systems will create alot of problems, from the sub prime crisis to the commodity crisis, the culprit is the same old greedy bunch of parasitic people, their offsprings and their underlings. The market sloganeers have always defended this immoral position but now more than ever, that support looks more and more tenuous because empty bellies growl louder. Lest they forget, governments have the power to check their excesses because they have the high moral ground and the backing of the masses (who can be equiped with guns to support the government). While lucrative, the position of the international money lender is always tenuous, all parties be advised.

I am no expert on economics but i have been having this hunch for a long time that events in the global economy (stock market fluctuations, ineterset rates, oil prices, commodities prices etc etc) are being manipulated (and controlled) by some powerful and rich men with the sole aim to increase the amount of tremendous power and money that they already have.
These people are present in every country and industry and will stop at nothing, after all why should they care about the millions who are starving, the millions whos livelihood gets lost, the millions who die due to lack of basic sanitation and medication or the kind of irreversible damage thats being done to earth. To them there is only one motive......money.....more money.

Agree. I think these billionaires would not care if the poor die of starvation. I suspect their believe is "survival of the fittest" and "no one owes you a living".
So, since they can get away doing what they have always been doing and nothing in the world can stop them, they take it that what they do is due to their capability.
So, there is no room for remorse or guilt on their part.

Guess what...some of the major oil producing countries just concluded a meeting. A meeting where a new "energy-for-poor" (the irony is astounding) concept was being discussed. And what was the outcome of the meeting you ask?.....no measures to reduce oil prices. The big shots are going to let the market take its own course. I guess that means they have decided to screw the poor and the not so poor for some more time. Guess thier coffers aint full enough yet.

these are the speculators that are responsible for the hike in oil. there is no one controlling body. these are all dispariate funds all out to make a quick buck without any accountability.

It proves 3 things :
1. The system is flawed. No one can do anything about it. Why is it allowed to be so? Why the rich is getting richer and poor getting poorer? Why the rich can have the right to live longer with better expensive medical services and the poor's life is cheaper and cannot afford to extend their live? The world being raped by a few.2. Recession / Economic collapse is or can be artificially orchestrated. No one can do anything about it. A matter of time. The world being raped by a few.
