I so hope that the letter to Wallstreet Journal can help us. But can they?

What if the rumour that he has blood transfusion every month to stay alive is true?
Vampire need new blood and also fresh funds...but the victims are too exhausted to supply the vampire's energy needs, so the vampire looks creepy and weird

No it can't only if you belive hard enough that you work hard enough to make it happen.
Soeharto's regime fell because of the student protest. A few of them were killed in the process. Now our current politician every single one of them owes those students for their career in politics but it seems that almost every one of them has forgotten this important fact that democracy was brought not by the sweat and blood of our current politician but by the sweat and blood of idealist students.
Now the current government is going hard on the students protest again. It seems in a way we have reverted back to the Soeharto's regime. Resorting to violence to crack down protest.
Anyway Munir a well known human rights activist died during the term of the current government. The court proceeding is shameful too.
That show that we are in a COMMUNIST COUNTRY. Not Democratic at all.
PAP do not allow people to have street protest. They control TCS and act as a propagada to the public. Sux government. Next Election Beware, Downfall might befall you. Democratic Include FREEDOM OF SPEECH and STREET PROTEST.
If you do not accept this, I think better declare as Lee Dynasty.
Huang Shan wan shuai wan shuai wan wan shuai.
I believe A man Who can lead Like SUN YAT SEN will appear and bring a new set of government state to Singapore.

Should we presume that you have been reading the local newspapers and depending entirely on the local papers for all your information to form "your opinions" ?
On the contrary, no Atobe. I am not here to start an argument or a political debate. Reading the news is a hobby & a good source to broaden my horizon.

...but you did not read about his testimony in court? Strange...
I am talking about a broader spectrum here.
double post
Singapore is too small that it allows autocratic and dictatorship to rule easily.
And LKY family's 10 billion dollar wealth is a major factor not only in Singapore but also in the region including Indonesia. LKY is very respected here from my experience. LKY's hated person becomes Indonesia's hated person as well. LKY can even break family bonds.
It seems that LKY regime has spread a trend that evil is superior and lies are a powerful tool to bend the truth. So many people turned a jerk. Trying to imitate his beloved master. It seems that many people think that being evil is actually a privilege.
What an insane world....we live in.
You know widespread evil(corruption) would crush any civilization. The symptom of the demise of any civilization can be seen through the dysfunctionality of its social system. When men turned into animals.
"Reading the news is a hobby & a good source to broaden my horizon."
hahaha.......
It's like saying I enjoyed my mind being brainwashed by P4P propaganda in the news.

People are mature and sensible to know MM LKY by now, it is not a personal attack. YOU have an a unique hobby.

Read more books and read news can broaden your worldview.
But if you are saying reading Singapore state propaganda media can broaden your worldview, then there is something wrong with your worldview already.
I do not wish to be rude but what state propaganda are you talking about? Personally, I have much respect for Dr Sun Yat Sen and sees him as the Father of Modern China. The news in Singapore bores me at times if you like to know.

I have respect for Dr Sun Yat Sen but not our local politicians.
I must say, according to my history textbook, I must say I also think that sun yet sun is a worthy leader. He does not fight wars, he does not jail political opponents.
But if I may say as well, his rule is not really long.

He had passion for revolution. Our local politicians have passion for making profit.

Thats an excellent point. But I rather him than mao cze dong. cause mao is pretty harsh. But his rule is short. but still better than chiang kai shek.
