  When GDP is reported good, should some people's salary be tied to it (adjust up)?

  When GDP is reported bad, should some people's salary be tied to it (adjust down)?

  When GDP is reported good, who is said to be the contributor?

  When GDP is reported bad, who/what is said / not said to be the culprit / non-contributor?
