If everybody needs oil, then why should American deserve to consume more oil than others? An average american is consuming 12.5 times more oil than an average Chinese. If we wipe out 300m population in America, we will have enough oil to feed an extra 2800m people in this world.
300m vs 2800 lives?
So by your logic and for the sake of the poor, the world should be getting rid of American isnt it?

You still have not answer me why an essentially NATURAL resource must be marketed at such skyrocket prices when Opec itself finds it sustainable at $60 per barrel.
