Take HK as model.Think twice.HK is yet to apporve
Electronic Prospectuses!!
HK medias and IPO companies are fond of showiing long
quene to collect IPO Paper Application Forms with Prospectuses!
HK is still under consultation to approve and implement
Electronic Prospectuses.There are many HK people using
paper applications for IPO!!
We have to take any leaf from any good books to improve
SG.No doubt.Dunt care that is third or first world.Dunt care
that is western or asia country,big or small.
So long it can help us to improve.Why not.
I dunt like too generalise,like ''HK must be very good
in all aspect or Aussie is damn good in every things''.
SGX used Electronic Prospectuses for its own IPO in 1999.
I dunt know if it is the first Electronic Prospectuses in SG.
I am not saying SG is the first country to use Electronic
Prospectuses.
I just say SG in some aspect can be as model for HK too.
Not to offend.There are too many opposition voices in
almost every new ideas in HK.
Its Gavaman and people are not willing to adopt any new
ideas which has some cons.But they forget the pros
in the new ideas!!
No people to quene Prospectuses is bad for IPO promotion
Who dares to reduce paper Prospectuses to take risks
of lower publicity in IPO?What if there is no long quene outside banks
for Prospectuses?If it is the case,western media cant despatch
image of IPO long quene lah?Oh can not!!
Dunt forget the share market there is for every one to play.
HK gavaman is too keen to look for high volume of share transaction
to maintain so called Global Finance Center.Dunt forget the
sky high figure from stamp duty!!
Thousand of trees have been cut to produce wasted
Prospectuses,estimatd one third not collected!!
30,000 trees were cut in a year to make prospectus.
