The family .. makes sure they no break laws. They have so many lawyers in their mids.
Corruption is outright against the laws.. the lawyers will be stupid to do it.
By raising their own salary to such obscene level... people cannot accuse them of corruption. Because the money is legally given as salaries.
This obviously the works of very smart lawyers. Very smart indeed.

someone did tell me by giving themselves obscene salary is a new form of corruption.
not to mention the occasional defamation lawsuits with their million dollars compensation serving as tidbits....
very 'fair' somemore, with all of the cases fought and won in the courts of singapore.

The defamation lawsuits are not to make more money.
When they bankrupt the oppositions.. the oppositions can longer qualify to run for election. Very obvious it is just their "legal" way of bringing down their competitions lah.
