the raucous and boisterous sammyboy coffeeshop was closed as from today. however, leongsam the host has opened up another branch in www. sammyboy com.
how many have visited that site?
as for now, it's quite subtle. many forummers from the old sites who migrated to the new sites are rather restrained in their postings. one thing for sure, there are many plagarisers who steal some of the more notorious, popular and outspoken nics from the old forums.
it's really a shame that the host allows such action to take place. some who are very attached to their old monikers complained and were given the privilege to recover their original nics.
there's a catch here.
why are those people treated differently? and yet those were the same people who were professing "human rights" .....equal rights for everyone or privileged rights for this bunch of people?
i anticipate very soon they would dominate that new kopitiam and mess up the whole intention of the forum in sharing and exchange of ideas and opinions.

Be careful, the site may be monitored by PAP. Some of my friends who used to surf at the old sammyboy found out that their nicks appear in the new forum by samleong without them even registering there.

if that site is monitored by PAP, then what about this site?
there are many policies by PAP that really need more explanations. it seem that their actions do not tally with what their intention put to us.
for example: increment of GST was "to help the poor and needies".
how can increasing everything under this little dot be helping anyone??
ERP gantries expanded to so many other roads. intention was to smoothen the traffic. do we really see improvement? initially maybe but later it would be back to the same old jammed up traffic again.
COEs suppose to control vehicles population. this one is so obvious. the side effect was fattening up gov's coffer!!
$$$....and there goes all hard-earned $$$!gov approvals to bus, taxi n mrt fare increment. yet when we read how many millions these public monopoly transport companies are making, it really puzzles everyone why the increment in fares should be approved.
maybe i should start posting here more often which is more civilised and rational with more matured netizens.

the old sammyboy kopitiam had been ruined by the invasion of clones and aggravated by those hypocrites who professed human rights, democracy and freedom of speech.
they have invaded the new sbf site. it would be deja vu soon. so far this site is still in a more congenial and rational mode.
