Do government companies employ foreigners?

See alot of foreigners working in singapore nowadays and alot of companies employs foreigners too.
How about government companies? Do they employ alot of foreigners too like those S pass holder, work permit holders etc?

U bet. But many govt org become govt comp. So they are free to hire whoever they like.....

Yes, yes. In public hospital they import a lot from India. A team of doctors and Hr personnel specially made a trip to India to recruit doctors to work in Singapore.

Dun think they employed any for DSO, DSTA, CSIT. All these are defence related.

It's only a matter of time before they change their minds.After all our we have been lectured on the importance of FTs to the growth of our economy,why not a strong defence too?
A Foreign Officer Talent(FOT) scheme could be introduced to raise defence standards in Singapore in the short term while we groom our own officers in OCS to be more worthy in representing our defence on the international stage.

IDA do hire foreigners too.
one of my acquaints who is a PR here, worked there as senior consultant for many years before he moved off to australia.

I'm not sure about that ....
there are many foreign born scientists in the US defense-industrial complex too ....
I mean, you hear of them all the time, when the FBI busts them for espionage ...

But my friends who work in IRAS and singapore sports council say they never see any foreigners there..

Did your friends mention do ministers truly pay tax? I am just curious. -
its pure madness, foreigner will not be loyal and sell out our country. u cant hire foreigner in such places like ministry and DSTA,
if they wanted to do that, they would have done it many years ago in SAF>ridding the citizens of burden of NS.
