Big Time as-holes... they sell Singapore utilities to make their results look good...

Record profits for Temasek
IN A year rocked by tumultuous global financial markets and the United States credit crunch, Temasek Holdings has reaped the rewards of its Asian inve
stme n ts . Yesterday, it reported record profits of $18.2 billion for over the financial year to end-March, double that of a year earlier, thanks
to a strong overall performance of its investments and the gains from $17 billion worth of asset sales.
This included divesting its stakes in shipping company China Cosco Holdings,
India-based energy and infrastructure firm Punj Lloyd, and Singapore power generation company Tuas Power.
This is lke the previous government selling Christmas Island to Australia.
Support Dr Chee Soon Juan to stop the despots from selling off Singapore and Singaporeans to the foreigners.... f-king traitors.

Making a stupid request... if he does not have support, he will be like the 3rd guy in the Anwar by-election... winning a grand total of 92 votes and losing his deposit.
Not once did Dr Chee lost his deposit despite the persecution and the propaganda against him.
So go ahead and show your support for Dr Chee Soon Juan's cause... and thanks to my coolies, this reminder will keep popping up without my effort.
hahahaha.....

.... of course chee has support.... some of these support are actually VISIBLE. Not like you.
.... but fact remains that the SDP garner less 25% of the votes in the last election.
.... if you ask me, i'd said that his strategy is great --- for his enemies... get yourself disqualifed for election is a great way to work for the community.

so what if Dr Chee is outside of parliament? He is getting the despots to make many changes... like making them sit up (and increase progress payments) when he protested against the high costs of living knowing that the despots will jail him for protesting....

what makes u think that he is the sole factor for the rebate scheme increase?

.... while he is on a roll, can you ask dr chee to reduce the number of ERP gentries, restore dialect TV series, do away with the chewing gum ban and increase paternity leave....???

it MUST BE.... afterall when the cock crows, the sun rises.....

... not the sole factor but the most important of all... you think that the despots will not sit up when people are willing to go to jail; when people knowing that the despots will jail them, went ahead with the protests anyway?
Actually, I think yes.

what a stupid example.
if i am a true despot, and someone is willing to go jail to protest against my wishes.... i'd say bring it on.... i'd throw them in jail and throw away the key..... why should i care? afterall i am a despot already.
or maybe,
these are not true despots?
Seriously, I still dun see what is CSJ is trying achieve, what is he fighting for? Choice for Singaporeans?
If I were to give him my PP $, would it be for something that I am funding? Or is it just some alms for the poor? If the latter is true, then maybe he can apply for financial assistance from his international network.
With all due respect, I do not despise CSJ, in fact I kinda admire him for his guts. But what ticks me off is his outright defiance to the Govt, to the point of nuisance...

Without outright defiance, you think there will be any changes in Singapore?
The despots will just continue to take as much from Singaporeans as possible, take as much as possible, bring in as many foreigners as possible as long as it benefits them or their cronies... and FAKE Temasek results by selling off Singapore utility companies to foreigners.

Honestly, SDP should re-evaluate which is the more appropriate strategy to take so that the party can be more effective in making the necessary changes. In his current mode, it just make him appear to be a baby screaming for attention and throwing tantrums.
The followng URL is something that I'd stumbled upon ... It was an interview with CNN in 2002. Somehow, the reader of this article may be confused by the picture that he is painting to the world. he had compared his efforts to great people like "Gandhi or Martin Luther King or Shih MingTe in Taiwan or Aquino in the Philippines". Situations in those countries were so different from where Sg is. I'm not too sure if I'm "blinded by the Singapore Govt" or not, regardlessly, I strongly believe that we are not in the same states as those great people were trying to reform.
Can ask CSJ to learn from Mother Teresa???
If he can show the SG citizens that he is willing to care for the oppresses and even their oppressors.
Then people will listen to him when he talks.
Andrewpkyap:
stop calling your idol a martyr or comparing him with those real martyrs. He is far from them.
Plus, the more I read, the more delusional I think u may be. You never truly answered qns pose to you by the other forumers, had you.
I seriously doubt CSJ is what caused the govt to have to adopt or put up certain new measures.
And stop calling ppl ass-licking dogs, or wishing for the death of ppl. That's outright insulting. Thought this forum is all about open discussion instead of trading insults.

The old despot, so old and still persecuting a young woman... despicable... issn't he at the hospital regularly looking at how his despotic wife is suffering as a result of his immoral acts?
