Government should provide $30k reward package to each and every FIRST time marriage couple. But they can only get that money after they have been married for at least 3 years and must have at least 1 child.
That should shut up all those poor buggers and anti-government activists.

Of course both have to be first time entering into a marriage, else divorce might become a fashionable trend.

cannot give divorcee this grant, or else loophole and will have people abuse it.
imagine some girl getting married and divorced 5 times, will get 30k times 1/2 times 4 equal 60k, quite a big sum le. plus the alimony, alot of money.
For guys who try abuse, the alimony money will suck him dry.

Actually the government real focus is not whether you marry or not, but whether you produce children or not.
So I think government should give subsidy to child care, maintenance cost, their food, healthcare everything. Then need to ask their parent to sign bond such that their kids must remain singaporean till certain age, if not must pay back. That is more practical.Anyway, I doubt government will do that lah.

How about mandatory death sentence to married couples who do not give birth within 3 yrs. And couples who do not love each other like how a happily married couple should, will be sent to compulsory rehabilitation centre to be reprogrammed. If persists , couples will be subject to termination, thier child into government care and programme and all assets seized and re-distributed into the population.

gahmen shld allow gay to marry. many gays are known to be homebody and responsible parent. many will also (like to) have children, via diffirent means. i am sure ica will be able to dish out more pink i/cs this way.
