  Kuan Yew does not like westerners, western policies, stuff are contrary to his dictatorship.    Democracy is a dirty word to kuan yew.    With him implementing policies the western way, this does not benefit him.    Remember this evil greedy dictator will not do any thing without any motive for himself.
