try to find him harder. if suspect is scam, go to police station with the documents you signed.
will the police here help me to find him out ?
If he is indeed a suspect of fraud, the police will be on the lookout for him.
Their chances of success is dependaent on how much info you have. If he give you fake name/ fake number, than very the hard.
I have his IC# and his name, but not sure is real or fake one...
get a friend to call for u and pretend tat he or she wants to rent a flat.. set him up.. get some means of help or call the police along if needed?
pm me the ic number... i can tell is fake or not.
If this happened in Australia, i assure u that u can sue the landlord for compensation.
The problem with singapore is lack of effective tenancy laws
i believe you can sue the landlord in Sg too.. but for this case, the issue is that this landlord maybe a fake one, and he is just out for cheating $$!

police report online now! no kidding... lodge a police report online.
http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/ePCLinks.html
With increasing computer literacy and popularity of the Internet, the Electronic Police Centre – Lodging of Police Reports is an e-service that provides an additional touch point to the SPF for members of the public. With a demand for our police services to be consumed anywhere and anytime, this e-service serves as an avenue for reporting of lost properties or reporting of crimes which does not require immediate police action
This e-Service will take about 15 minutes to complete.
