I read the topic of "Job for FT,NS for Singaporeans",when discussing the issue of whether women should serve NS,the way some gals replies are obviously showing "spoiled brats" symdrome.This show that many Singapore women lack of considerate thinking for the opposite sex(male) in Singapore.
First,let me elaborate why women should serve NS.In Israel whereby men and women serve NS together,it doesnt affect the fertility rate of the country.In fact,their fertility rate is as high as 2.92 in 2000 and 2.77 in 2008 respectively.Much higher than Singapore,whereby our men serving NS,our spoiled women run away with Bangladesh.
Secondly,the Israel army is well-known for its fighting ability.In fact,they are one of the best armies in the world.I believe,women participate in the army serving is also one of the factors why their armies are so good and strong.
Thirdly,women participate in NS will also reduce some burden that the men and the Singapore government are facing.That is lack of human resource serving NS in Singapore.
All this reasons are strong enough for the government to implement law or policy that women should also serve NS,its good for the nation n our men and women as well.
