Any reason why you are posting Martin Luthur king without saying his name?
you have a dream?
go back and sleep lor, maybe will have more dreams coming.
All the people at the top have a dream too.
No, the dream doesn't include the majority of Singaporeans.
But it's a good dream.
Really.![]()
You really should at least put a note of reference as to where you got your speech from, he was a great man give him that much credit at least.
However I agree with you, and with charlize, though I must say charlize seems quite the cynic... It's a good dream though. I dream of it many a night myself.
ok, carry on dreaming.
If you meant that I would only dream and not take action, you're wrong to suppose that of me...I will help to bring change.
if i say this is martin luther king's speech, it will be wrong... it is true that this is based on his speech though.
his speech is prominent enough that posting the words "i have a dream" will link to him, the same way the words "tonight we dine in hades" is associateded with leonidas.
either that or you guys didn't spot the difference between my post and the original speech
We did, you could have wrote something like... "Based on Martin Luther King's speech" But now you already have with your last post.*Grins*

haha, but it was unnecessary. the title is prominent enough.
When you say that you dream, you dream of freedom right? Freedom from oppression, and censorship along with the many things Singaporeans complain about. Question is... what is the true meaning of this "Singaporean dream", I mean we all know what the "American dream" is, beacuse there are enough Hollywood movies to teach us that. I'd like to ask what kind of freedom do YOU dream of?
i dream of a place where academic papers is not the primary basis of career advancement, but based primarily on merit.
you didn't read the post right? sad... ![]()
My bad, apologies for asking you a silly question there.
Alright then, how would you suggest the system should be run then?

first, scholars cannot disrupt NS!
2nd, scholars will be part of normal evaluation for promotion!
3rd, scholarship will be awarded with consideration of both financial and merit basis. that rich kid with parents pulling in millions don't need the scholarship, someone with more dire or normal family income does.
Wake up wake up!!! time to go urine...dun wet the bed ya,

5 more minutes mom...
*Grins* You're a bit old to be wetting your bed yes?
I was actually hoping you would propose a system similar to the international schools...My sister attended OFS for a short period of time... and their lessons were amazing!! Fun, thought provoking and quite liberal...though that meant their maths was never as good as someone of the same age in the singapore system. On the whole the students were a intellegent, warm and fun bunch.

My maid call me Miss, not mom, from now on you call me Miss, my grandma as Mom, my Dad as Sir and my Dad's mistress as Mattress.
Understand.??
Err according to my interpretation of your dream, the world is going to be totally messy.
