The government seems to be getting quite worried about Singapore's migration rate recently eh? Noted the new show "sense of home" or something. Looks like they're not even bothering to make the propaganda subtle anymore.
I dont know about you guys, but the constant focus that the govt places on this issue just makes me want to migrate even more. Cos it looks like everyone's doing it, and Singapore's really going downhill.
Opinions?
if want to go go lah
No need say so much
the whole point of a forum is to say something
Fuck off then?

Oh thanks for reminding me.
Nowadays because of fucking liberals and shitholes every straight person has to love and accept fags. If I ever punch a fag, it is a hate crime instead of just them being an annoying piece of shit.
With the way they are taking care of our expats and foerigners i wouldnt be surprised.
sometimes i wonder, why does the govt have to bring those fucking scumbags to our country.

I am a keyboard warrior.
Yes, the whole concept was to filter out the trash and socially convince them to leave Singapore on their own accord and retain all the capable ones to create a better and safer and smarter society in Singapore for our future generations.
But some of the trash are not smart enough to leave on their own accord, so it is necessary to constantly remind and direct them towards the garbage refusal area. ![]()
It's obvious they are not good enough to survive in Singapore, not good enough for Singapore.
Dont regret when you leave, there will be nowhere for you to feel even a tiny bit of sense of belong. Im not exactly patriotic but i wish i could, so some people like me just hang on and hope for change, hope for a chance to love our country.

Oh!!Good luck!
We are a democratic, socialist (partly---good elements only)
and free country!!Isn't it?So,who prevent u from seeking
a better heaven,if u can?Pl drop us a mail if u find one.
Though SG resigned from Socialist International in 1970's,
the old guards still have good elements of Socialists.
USSR,PRC,Vietnam ,N Korea and Cuba have experienced and
still experience(for Cuba and N Korea)the bad elements of Socialists
thinkings. Thanks Almighty that LKY and the old guards selected
the good from Socialism. Therefore, migration quota open
for Singaporeans are always under utilised.
The little red book proves u are not economics refugee.
Suprisingly,Oz Labor Party is still a Full member.
The defintion of Socialist is much different than 1965 lah.
Here are a list of party loking for Just and Equal society--
for your references:
www.socialistinternational.org
Full member parties(for Asia only)
Australia Australian Labor Party, ALP Iraq Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, PUK Israel Israel Labour Party Israel Meretz-Yachad Party Japan Social Democratic Party SDP Lebanon Progressive Socialist Party, PSP Malaysia Democratic Action Party, DAP Mongolia Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party, MPRP Nepal Nepali Congress Party New Zealand New Zealand Labour Party, NZLP Pakistan Pakistan People's Party, PPP
A lot of politicians ' actions dunt match their words.
I strongly suggest u guys read few newspapers of your
preferred country every day for 6 months before u make
up your mind. The best is stay there for few weeks.
There are few politicians in the world say what they mean.
SPEECH BY THE PRIME MINISTER, MR. LEE KUAN YEW,
AT THE OPENING SESSION OF THE 1965 ASIAN
SOCIALIST CONFERENCE IN BOMBAY ON 6TH MAY, 1965.
A MORE EQUAL AND JUST SOCIETY FOR ASIA
There was time not so long ago, at the end of the Second World War,
when people expected the whole world to go socialist. Throughout the world
there seemed to be an inveitable trend towards a more eglitarian society. When a
socialist government in Britain, shortly after it assumed office in 1945, decided to
liquidate its empire in Asia, there were hopes that the future would mean a more
just and equal world where governments of socialist leanings varying from
progressive liberal, social democrat, or democratic socialist to Communist, would
soon take charge of the destinies of mankind in nearly all countries of the world.
.......................
Those who are not leaving Singapore are either doing pretty well or are stuck without alternative of migrating. LOL.
My 2 cents.

eh... it is more like, those that survive and make good in Singapore leave to enjoy their hard work instead of having to pay through their noses for despots to take their (public) money...

yes, the foreign workers here work hard then go back home to enjoy the fruits of their hard work.
You envy them? but do you have what it takes to join them?

Dun take the foreign workers to compare, they are poor chaps, most hv to paid $4 to 8k to get here, after 2 years, they may not make alot, and worst, some errand agents took their money and neglected them, end up they got no face to go back and stay here as illegal, they really dunno what to do??
Unlike FTs, who are welcome here without even need to pay agent, FWks really help us in a physical way that most of our peoples, who are either old or educated, will not be able to take up the jobs

Unfortunately sometimes it is the people of Singapore who are rejecting the foreign workers, like those in Serangoon Garden, they are also the ones giving PAP a hard fight during election.
given some unfortunate exceptions, foreign workers working here should make enough money to go back for a better life. Of course, it depends on how they lived here, how long they work here and what skill they learn working in Singapore. Otherwise, why do they come.

So those migrating are trash lol. You are so jealous I don't even know where to begin.
Try to be subjective instead of chanting "Singapore Singapore" slogans.
Singapore should look into the pull factors that result in migration and address them..... if its not realistically possible let the people understand that and point out the qualities of Singapore that competitor nations can't offer. Don't avoid the issue, address it publicly and let the public know the steps taken to improve the current standard of living.
That would at least assure the people that the govt knows and cares about their well being and the countries shortcomings.
Those that leave are the brains, those that are left behind are folks like lionnoisy and friends. The two extremes are frightening. Imagine you will a population consisting of lionnoisy and friends.
Very soon we will be at war with Australia. ![]()
If they aren't the brains (assets), the government won't be allocating resources to produce a propaganda film to convince the brains that it's not entirely good in other countries.

they came here becos of agents advertising Singapore as a Gold palace, lots of money to be earn, and they usually takes the one that really excel and earn alot as an example.
Of all Fworkers here, nearly 1/3 are being conned here with no other choice but to work and work to get even with their agents fees. They came with long sleeve shirt and tie, but the next day, they are up the lorry with spade and dirty cloth ready for hard physical work. They carried on the 2nd term ie another 2 years because in the first 2 years they earn to paid back their agent fees only +high cost of expenses here, so the next 2 years they need to extend so as to get back what they lost and perhap some profit out of it.
What are we but descendents of immigrants? I do not think we should sneer at those who have left, it is not wrong to leave for your own interests. However it would be wrong to then call yourself a Singaporean, they should renounce their Singaporean citizenship, and become the citizen of whatever country they have moved to, and be proud of it, sing it's anthem, be ready to die for that nation that they have called home. Afterall a nation isn't what you see on a map, or the ground beneath your feet. It is an idea, hopes, and dreams of many people to live and progress with each other. If you don't like singapore's idea, and prefer another country's? Leave by all means, but ask yourself why you leave, and how will you answer to your descendents in the future, make sure it isn't "Because I didn't like the weather", what kind of a person would that reflect of you? Unloyal, with no futher interests than your selfish own? Fine...but I cannot see how they would then contribute to their new nation, and why that new nation should accept them. Nation before self, because it should be that you believe in that nation's ideals. I would die for Singapore, because there are singaporeans in it, and I believe they would too for me.
