that is the main problem with the sg's education; education to fill the minds of the population with useless facts and totally devoid of life skills. sure, an average kid in sg will spew out life sciences and solve complex maths, but 99% are dumbfounded when u pop them questions that deal with real life situation. people like that are easy to control and smoked. look at the churches in sg, all the pastors are using spiritual intimdation to scare the shits of the believers into total submission.
this reminds me of this experiment where the researchers hold 5 monkeys in a cage and dangle a banana at a corner. so whenever a monkey start to grab the banana, the researchers sprayed water at the other monkeys. so when they introduce a new monkey that is totally oblivious to the whole situation and want to grab the banana, the whole lot will wrestle it down to prevent him from achieving its goal.

for a regular contributor to this forum even i do consider that this forum is nothing worth more to read than a Strait Times newspaper, your persistent and constant contributions on any news that protrayed Oz in a bad light is something that left me wondering about your motivation and perhaps, hidden anguish that is eating you up from within.
