what is he trying to prove?
Probably the similar to what Ghandi was trying to prove.
"unjust laws should not be obeyed"
A for effort but he's not doing a very good job.
Maybe the oppression of the singaporean populace has not reached the point, that will garner him a substaintial following.
What he is doing is actually rather common in other 1st world countries, but without the general comdemnation that some people here give. Perhaps the oppression tolorance level of Singaporeans is alot higher and they see as what he is doing as uncalled for.
Just a tought..
Singaporeans embrace evil with the belief that it is a required trade off for prosperity.
But must it be that way? But more importantly Is it really true?
One thing that I learn in today's business opportunities is that people are not logical. They do not buy the things that they need or which suited them best. They buy what they 'think' or believe they needed.
If someday a damn good liar tell the whole world that a rock is somehow good for your health and longevity, backed by brochure and confusing seemingly scientific data and test results then people would pay large sum of money for it. Just because they think and believe that they need it.
Good business do not wait for opportunities to arise. Good business create their own opportunity. It's no longer about supplying demand but rather creating demand.
after all we are living in a confusing time full of confused people.

I always stay 1 step behind product cycles, so tat i can get the prev gen product on the 2nd hand market.
Its degrading to a great man like Gandhi
its amazing how one small elderly man can bring an entire empire to its core. maybe if CSJ can fast like ghandi did.
it can only happen in SC
As long as Singaporeans are materially pacified, they will remain apathetic to politics.
Why is CSJ trying so hard to change something thats outside of anyone's control? PAP will fall flat on its face when it is unable to pacify people with their "Economic Stimulus Packages" and "Lift upgrades."
And honestly speaking, when that day comes, its will be a sad sad day for Singapore. It would mean that we'd have hit rock bottom.
