  Can't even find 10, how to form a 88 member team? The current opposition are either too aggressive or too quiet.

  • SDP - CSJ's method too extreme for average Singaporean.
  • SDA - Chiam See Tong getting old and he need a successor.
  • WP - Low Thia Khiang lack the aggressive to take on PAP, and rather take on the supporting role. Although this manage to get him a sit in parliament, I think it's because even PAP feel he's not a threat.
    

  If JBJ still around, hope will be higher.

  Actually, I think they can be anyone with considerable positive reception from the public for speaking out against the current estab, and preferably a professional in some way. By that definition it is certainly possible to have enough people to contest all the seats. The real problem is that most of these people would have better things to do than putting up themselves as candidates, but that doesn't stop us from shortlisting them anyway. We want people who actually represent *our* views instead of all that 'Polls reveal so and so hike is acceptable' bullshit.

  Because if u are slightly more vocal than Low TK, you are a bankrupt by now...
  Lack of aggression is better than having no opposition in the parliament.
  
  In the pass we have many more aggressive oppositions, teng liang hong come to mind, but none made it pass the hatchet of lky. Low might nt be the most aggresive but he sure is the most successful of all opposition figures.

  I think WP tactic to wait and see.. they make hoohaa garmen will sue them. They talk alot about Singapore in parliment but the media is on 1st side only. So people will think that Opposition never do anything only the garmen MP ask about the people wellfare show on TV... VERYYYYY GooooooD arrr. they only show what they want public to see, Not Fair.

  Maybe this explains why some question the REALity of WP. There is a blog called Wayang Party.

  Moles aplenty. Some Online, some Offline.

  Its almost impossible to tell who is not a Mole.

  With the quietus of our legend and the seriously aging CST, image tarnished CSJ and the 'unbiased' MSM, plus most importantly the 99% population that to me seems like totally not interested in social issues, and the constant batch of capable men and women volunteeringly giving up their citizenship, I can only predict that

  Singapore opposition will weaken in years to come, and this trend has started already with losses of talent.

  A memorial service to the great man only attended by a handful despite blogs spreading the message. Strange weird characters were present at the memorial service. Who are these people? 

  Do you see majority of people show any disapproval to the numerous HIKES ? 

  The answer is clear - NO DISAPPROVAL from the majority.

  I am absolutely, totally DisIllusioned.

  Its clear - the future of Opposition. less.

  there is no major things that the people will hate the government about. it's all the minor things, and they are well spread out, so people won't feel the pain. that is part of the tactic.

  Actually i am thinking of contesting for my joo chiat and geyland constituency, by 2011, i will be eligble to contest, but then i scare to loose my $30,000 deposit when my vote get below the average requirement, if you all can support me, i dun mind trying, now me saved 10k liao.

  must be above 21yo

  must not have any criminal records

  must be healthy

  must posses at least an O level

  must not be a bankruptcy

  must be willing to let got 30k once vote goes below 30%

  i will be 21 yo ++,

  Saved $30k to apply

  Healthy and ready for child bearing

  No criminal record except traffic offences

  Not yet bankrupt

  And finished my advance diploma in entertainment services.

   

  So, i should be eligble hor.. i intend to set up my rally at the Padang. I will call Jack Neo, Old chang kee, st 77 boss, zouk and st jame station boss to support me, i believe they are the ones that can throughly penetrate and change people mindsets on the political situation of Singapore.
