Six months after the election after P4P has won,
1) We will see GST 10%
2) Electricity increases (by then they will be using futures prices for 2050)
3) Bus fares will increase another 20 cents
4) Property tax will decrease, but they will increase the Net Annual Value of your property
5) Marlboros will cost $20 a pack
6) Petrol tax will increase to help fight environmental pollution
7) CNG will be taxed because many converting from gasoline to CNG will reduce government taxes
8) HDB 3-rooms (2 bedrooms) will start from $400,000
9) ERPs will cost $5 per entry
10) Singaporeans salary will remain the same (after taking effect the cost of inflation) due to the high influx of foreign talents to compete for wages, therefore depressing wages of citizens.
And if opposition wins, six month down the road, Civil War broke out, chaos and riot will rule the street and maybe i will be rape...better vote the PAP

Chiam will not lose his seat even though he appears senile. Residents will give his little known successor time to prove his worth as evident when Bukit Batok voted in "dun talk cock" Ling How Doong lol.
WP's Low Thia Khiang will still retain Hougang but that's because this is all he is really good at: running a town council, not a govt. Sylvia will still continue her enthusiastic speeches but my guess is she may nick a constituency or if not, less likelier, a GRC.
SDP loses like shit as usual and NSP remains insignificant. RP will go into oblivion.
Aiya, Uncle, think so far for what, dunno if tomorrow can survive or not talk so much for what, when election come, automatically we will know one lah, cos MP will visit my house as usual.
People will not be adventurous in trying out new oppositions when their livelihood are at stake.
One example : In 2001 elections - PAP won with majority 75%
That is the period of sars, economic turmoil and blah blah

Is election an adventure?? wee?? i believe it is not a matter of economy downturn or blah blah but a matter of how influential the citizens are, today, as a young gal, i travelled alots, see the unseen, and know the unknown, educated in a way of EQ QA and AQ. Unlike my Daddy times, and most Uncles are also exposed to the world thru the net, see the widen aspect of things, understood that nothing is permanent and change is normal.
So, i believed that the opening up of knowledge economy and globalisation will change one person thinking in his/her choice of govt. That is the different.
And that is why the govt isseen desparately promoting their wares thru internet before the election. They need to outreach and explore new areas in order to convince us. Unlike the past, when they can laugh all the way to win, it will be a more serious approach this time round.
Anyway, Singapore opposition still need a seed to grow up into a big tree.
So, it will take a long time before we finally have some excitment in Singapore election
So for now, some singaporeans are watering seed that they think they r seeds but they are actually stones.
Some seeds grow into weed and yet some believes that the weed will grow into tree but in actually fact, it is just leeching the resources.
Oh well... I guess it is the desperation that drive people to wierd thoughts and actions.

Singapore oppositions are only making up the number and perform a show so that foreign press cannot say we one govt rule all the way ya. What Singapore did to us is not education, everywhere there is a freedom of education if you are willing to pursue education, and education dun promise you a good life.
What singapore govt did was providing everyone a JOB. A Job that will keep you busy and dun bother so much about politics
You know what when we in Indonesia were still under the Soeharto's new order regime the general elections had always brought overwhelming vitory to the Golkar party. Oppositions party such as PPP or PDI(Megawati's) were very impotent indeed.
Now that we have REAL geeral elections the people need to be registered whereby such registration was never necessary in the new order regime.
Do you know why?
Because in real fair democratic general election, your votes count!
Below is my own added sig
I'm a victim of grave abuses from psychotic people in power with access to telepathic person(s) in Singapore . All abuses are to convince people I'm mentally ill to cover their grave evil. Telepathy is not a far off fiction. It's a fact

So obvious now... yet in 2011 almost all will be blinded with greed... and so the cycle repeats\

I tink very soon, with the influx of PRC people in everyline of work, our wages will be on par with PRC.

$4000 handout .. is nothing during a golden period.
$400 handout is God sent in times of economic crisis...
Ain't we registered when we vote? I remember showing my IC and they cross my name on this list and passed me a voting card.
Chances of voting is small with mostly walkovers. And chances of any people getting enough guts to vote for some changes is smaller than the brain of an ant.

LKY has mentioned before that it’s not the govt’s business to help the opposition. I think we are not asking help for the opposition, we are just asking a for a fairer representation for the pple. He senile or what?
He is not senile he is just farking shrewd and cunning

Really or not, last time i think you voted for them, this time around i think they give you $4000 progressive paid out a month before election, i think you still vote for them. Singaporeans, very easy to cheat on lah, either by money or fear, they all vote PAP liao. Outside talk big only.
