What can singaporeans do to welcome new immigrants?

We need new immigrants to setup business here and supply business with low cost employees and hire foreigners which hopefully still remain cheaper than locals. Locals need higher pay to sustain living in singapore. Foreigners from 3rd worlds need less and they still happy as they still earn lots more than at home.
I suggest the following:
1. Have TV shows like , Chinese show , Channel U's straight talk-like programs and invite new immigrants to say things that are pro-new immigrants to side themselves. And invite singaporeans to speak pro-new immigrants. Like this, I hope singaporeans thinking can be influenced to support new immigrants.
2. Have TV shows like, English show, BlogTV-like programs, but with a slight twist where the TV show hosts can try to influence the viewers to think that new immigrants should be welcomed. As any topic is debatable in this world and that is why lawyers got a job, I think if the hosts just keep saying pro-immigrant thinking to influence the viewers, I hope this will succeed in influencing singaporeans' mentality. I believe anyone's thinking can be changed by persuation. At the same time, TV should not show views of anti-new immigrant.
I hope singaporeans can be influenced in their thinking to support new immigrants. I believe this is highly possible as I believe singaporeans are quite easy to be persuaded.

For example if people unhappy about foreign workers, organise a propaganda talkshow to sell the counter propaganda agenda to the public.

actually I am also a new immigrant supporter ;)
So far, I vote FD of BlogTV as the best host and supporter of new immigrants.
FD is a businessman with a registered media-related business.
Recently if you tune in to tv , you can he is is awarded a TV advertisement.
I hope he earns some money out of this and not do it for free as he is really good at his job of ....
maybe due to his experience as businessman he realise the importance of having FT to help lower his business cost? maybe. this means maybe not.
Maybe he is so popular with singaporeans that he is given the advertisement ?
So, FD helming the BlogTV is right choice. His experience and gift of gap can be persuasive tool to support what I support which is support of new immigrants and FTs . I hope his persuasive skills is able to persuade singaporeans who can be persuaded quite easily based on historical evidence, to persuade them to welcome new immigrants to come live among them. squeeze a bit lah. what is the problem?
I hope FD continue to sing the praise of singapore.Why not? there are many things to sing praise about is it not? So far, his views are very pro.....use your brain, eyes and ears and you can easily read this guy clearly.
