The senile cursed despot cashed in on what the British built and damaged the economy with his greed, cronyism, nepotism and evil acts like persecuting dissidents, opposition and taking as much public money as possible. The government is supposed to be the referee but this referee is playing the game and cashing in!
While he is personally cursed with a son that had cancer of the anus and a wife that cannot die peacefully, a daughter in law that killed herself and replaced with a gambling addict losing billions, in the hundred to foreigners; Singapore's economy will continue to be damged.

There has never been an uncorrupted government. Although i'm rather unexperienced in this entire field, I must say that the Singapore government has provided the majority of its citizens with a stable economy and good standard of living.
There will never be a uncorrupted government. Corruption exists in one way or another.
So all I have to say is to just enjoy life. Leave the politics to the politicians. Unless you want some white hair haha :o

Very simply, the amount he's taking is too immoral - to go by Obama' label of the Wall Street bonuses as "shameful". He himself had said before that US ex-Presidents have been making good money giving speeches. No one is stopping him from doing the same.

The old "let's embrace evil because fighting evil is so tiring" defence? That is what got Singapore into this mess. If you want the "a stable economy and good standard of living" to continue, I suggest you do not continue to be so apathetic.

He's not worth the amount he's paid. Where is his shame to create an only kind of post in the world so that he can be paid a filthy amount. What can of duty does he do that can't be done by other ministers other than spouting the obvious?
The success of Singapore owes a lot to the people's entrepreneurship. Just look at Hongkong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea and even China. Their kinds of government were rather different from ours in that their oppositions had a lot more freedom and their people are not barred from street demonstrations. But look at where are they now. They progressed a lot too.
For his greed alone, I can never support this government. Top dollar for what kind of performance??? NKF is a stark reminder.
And by the way, the old NKF was a microcosm of the PAP style of government. No dissent in la-la land.

My Poor Uncle Andrew, if he is neutral and enjoy a peaceful life here, he will be perfect for anyone. Could even be an MP of PAP, but too bad, badly influenced by Dr Chee and thailand govt, he is a goner..but not so far, i will try to save him. After all, I am an Angel of God
