  someone just needs to initiate a trend, loosen things up and people will follow suit. the singaporean mentality is limited to fear. fear of getting jailed. fear of making the headlines. fear of this and that.

  i don't advocate caveman tactics. but surely some reaction will discourage further financial abuse.
