The key word here is Essentially. Very similar policies indeed, but there exists two parties chosen by the people. The quality and diversity of options, or lack there-of, doesn't reflect on the quality of the democracy.

Our laws where got draconian? When Mas Selamat escaped the person in charge of the Mministry was not forced to resign. When NKF CEO was eventually found to be guity of fraud, officials who defended him and restored NKF IPC status were not sacked. When a 11-year-old was killed by a corroded public lamp post the agency wasn't prosecuted. When an ang mo lady killed a family of 3 at Alexandra Road she was able to get away scot free. In fact our laws are very charitable, esp to those blessed ones!

yup, the law like no murder, no robbery is all an illusion used by psychotic people with telepathic powers.

that's a good piece, i have search this author on internet, Wang li xiong. The reflection on tibet i think is not biased, because this guy is imprisoned, and his father was tortured to death by CPC during cutural revolution, so he hate cpc,he said he love the country not CPC,
So in this article,Hu yao bang, have issued a six point proposal to tibet,which is remarkable, make tibet a real autonomous region, the Number one leader in TAR is tibetan, the han ethnicity have been reduced to a small number, but as it's said in the article, we foster the enemy, like central government make reform in tibet, and inject many money to tibet, when the people become more wealthy and more educated, they support Dailai more, so in this article, they are not asking for Autonomy, they asking for independence, this is no way to be accepted by billion of Han chinese, even you make a democratic poll, so some new appraoch should really be adopted solving the religious problem in Tibet, and yes, tibet issue becoming a bargainning chip for west.
