Dun have to sink a ship, juz pay some container ship captain to ram their several boats a few times, and then suggest that we run "joint patrols", this time in Malaysian waters... And dun care what they say, we send one armada to parade around the JB side of the straits of Singapore. That ought to do the trick. Understandably, their reaction would be unconstructive, as it has almost always been.
Whenever Malaysia uses the word "compromise" it ofetn means nothing less then total and unconditional surrender and complaince to their demands, no wonder nobody takes them seriously... -

With good dedicated NSF men - who pay attention to all the jungle warfare training and field craft lessons - we will also win in unconventional warfare aka Guerilla Warfare.
Whatever kind of warfare that is to be fought, we better prepare the Field Hospitals, the Rear Hospitals, Medivac Helicopters, and every single Singaporeans better sign up their organ donation form.
There will be NSF guys and gals, who will have blast wounds, torn limbs, eyes gashed, stomach blasted out of the body, liver torn, kidneys damaged, ear drum blown, brains drilled with high velocity bullets.
If we are prepared to respond to this kind of childish provocation with all out war; then it certainly will be alright to go all out, and give them a real bloody nose.
This is to tell them - "Enough is Enough".
The other alternative is to use a couple of our big and sturdy and brand new heavy weight LST, and let them loose at high speed around Preda Branca.
We will certainly hit a few of the RMN or Police Patrol Boats.
We will see if their boats are as well built as ours have shown to be; and we will get to know how well trained their Navy guys are in keeping a damaged boat afloat.
The Malaysian Government is behaving like a group of young kids, out to spoil the game for the Singapore Government - trying to put the Singapore Government in their place, and teach the Singapore Government to be less pompous in their attitude towards others (as they have done in the manner they treat Singaporeans).
Like spoiled brats they are running in and out of our back yard and front yard, walk into our open front door, and thumbing their nose at us, challenging us to do whatever extreme that we dare to do.
Literally thumbing their nose right up into our arse.
Let all four of our brand new LST run loose at high speed, around Preda Branca, and lets see the helmsmanship of our Coxswain, the Captains of the ships, the entire Crew of all four vessels.
If we slice a couple of the RMN Patrol Vessels, or break up a couple of the puny size Royal Malaysian Police Boats, then let us turn the tables on them, and let them decide if they want to turn up the heat for both sides.
Two can play the same game. If they want to zip in and out, and run circles around Preda Branca; then we will show how well we can play the same game with them, with bigger ships.
However, we will control the situation, and shall decide the time and place to respond in a manner equal to the provocation. -
since most agree that Sg wins hands down in a shooting war, then i think its futile to talk it to death. god willing, we'll win anyway!

there are other ways to deal with guerillas without the need to send good NSmen...

Stay away from Pedra Branca, S'pore tells KL again

DILI - Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Tony Tan on Wednesday urged Malaysia to be 'wise' and to restrain its state vessels from further intrusions into Singapore waters at Pedra Branca.
If not, the KL government will have to bear responsibility if its actions lead to more tension and a higher risk of unintended incidents.
Dr Tan sounded this warning just two days after he took a strong stance in Parliament against the neighbour's violations of Singapore waters.
There had been a spate of five intrusions last week by Malaysian Navy and marine police vessels, up from three in the last week of last month, he had told the MPs.
Yesterday, during a visit to Timor Leste, formerly East Timor, he told reporters: 'I hope the Malaysian government will be wise and restrain Malaysian state vessels from making further intrusions into our territorial waters of Pedra Branca.
'If such intrusions continue, the Malaysian government will have to bear the responsibility if actions by Malaysian vessels create a tense situation on the ground or increase the risk of unintended incidents.'
He was on a one-day visit to Singapore peacekeepers deployed in Timor Leste under United Nations auspices. UN peacekeepers were stationed there after anti-independence militia launched a bloody rampage through the former Indonesian province in 1999.
Timor gained independence last May, and is now rebuilding itself.
Singapore has deployed about 250 troopers there, including 160 ground troops and a detachment of four UH-1H helicopters with 72 crew including pilots, aircrew and technicians.
The minister said he was 'heartened' to find out that morale among the Singaporeans there was high, and that they have been warmly received by the peacekeepers from other countries as well as the Timorese.
In Dili, Dr Tan also met Timor Leste Prime Minister Mari Alkatiri, Secretary of State for Defence Roque Rodrigues and the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Mr Kamalesh Sharma. -

So if you shoot your Harpoon Missile, or sink one or two RMN vessels with a clear shot from the Oerlikon Guns from our RSN ships, does it make you feel better that we are the one to start the shooting war and taught the Malaysians a lesson ?
If all those here who want to draw blood with the Malaysians, why do it "without declaration of war" ?
As our Defense Minister has said, be prepared for the consequence of your actions that can lead to serious incidents; and then the next step is either an "accident", or an "act of war".
Beef up our presence at the Preda Branca, jammed the traffic flow with our larger vessels, if we knock one of their vessels out-of-the sea - at least it is considered "a naval accident"; not an "act of war".
Get real man, your "hot headed" method of settling the present problem - by letting a "70mm shell or a guided missile on a flying mission" - belongs to the "TalkingCock Forum" then a realistic idea of seriousness, as much as my idea is "talking cock" by knocking into the RMN vessels.

KL says navy patrols off Pedra Branca will go on
MALACCA -- Malaysia on Thursday said it would keep its naval ships on patrol missions in waters around the rocky islet of Pedra Branca.
Defence Minister Najib Razak said of the island, which Malaysia calls Pulau Batu Putih: 'We have a right to continue the patrols and these patrols conducted by Malaysia are not something new but have been going on since 1964.'
He was reacting to accusations by Singaporean Defence Minister Tony Tan that Malaysian vessels had recently intruded repeatedly into the waters around the island, which Singapore claims as its territory.
The island, which sits on the eastern entrance to the Straits of Singapore, is largely uninhabited. Singapore has exercised sovereign rights on the islet since the 1840s, when the British colonial government occupied it and constructed the Horsburgh Lighthouse there.
Malaysia, buoyed by its 2002 win in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) that awarded it two other islands also claimed by Indonesia, asserted its claim to Pedra Branca in the late 70s and again following its ICJ victory.
Mr Najib, speaking to the official Bernama news agency, said Malaysia had no intention of causing tension through the patrols.
'The patrols that we have conducted and will conduct are non-aggressive in that, for example, we don't show our cannons, missiles or radar,' he said.
Dr Tan told the Singapore Parliament on Monday: 'There were three violations by Malaysian state vessels over the last week of December. There were five more violations last week.
'In these incidents, the Malaysian vessels came close to Pedra Branca and conducted various activities,' he said, pledging that Singapore's navy would defend the country's sovereignty.
During a visit to Singapore troops stationed Timor Leste for a United Nations peacekeeping mission on Wednesday, he repeated his warning to Kuala Lumpur about staying away from the island.
The two countries have agreed to sign a pact to refer the dispute over the rocky outcrop on their maritime border to the ICJ on Feb 6. -- AFP
