Govt has announced small buses to install seatbelts by 3 or 5 years. It is a right decision.
So meantime...kids continue to get injured or worst killed...these are considered expendables...for the meantime? Buses operators are already profiteering from it and I am already started paying for extra. It is just a 1 time installation cost but we are paying extra $5/month? Why?

because they can do it and get away with it.
because there's nothing else you can do( unless you want to send the kid yourself)
because it feels good(who don't like extra money)
because its easy and they can raise it without cost
The bus operators would get a sum of money for installing seat belts. Why does the govt want to do so for the operators to comply with a safety rule? They know how to earn back the extra cost from customers.I rather think the govt help parents to cope with fare increased is a better solution.
