He does agree that it is very possible and humans always have hidden agendas in everything they do especially when it comes to capitalism, mind u this guy is a PHD is finance and economics.
But not history professor!
Hidden agenda is quite true, but not the NWO/illuminati drivel.
There is no evidence whatsoever on that.
Just empty rhetoric.
We can say that it is complete cow dung.
That is true.

20km/hr in cycling terms is really slow.
do you cycle much? do you know that there is traffic on the road, and you have to stop sometimes? do you know that the road to your destination is not always a straight line? and you will tire out when you go uphill, and have to control your speed when going downhill?
i cycle on the road about 80% of the time, pavement about 20%, depending on the needs. for safety, i follow the traffic signals of the pedestrian.
even if by law i am suppose to follow the traffic signals of the cars, i won't do it man, safety first.
depends on the route, most times u can cut through carparks, blocks ect

ok, time for simple plan a route challenge. from serangoon to kovan mrt. which carpark can you cut through?

ok, ok, maybe longer than 15mins.....especially in heavy traffic areas.
i cycle alot. i have 5 bikes.
just did the round island on sat. on shorter 60km route, we ave about 28-30km/hr.

why would you need 5 bikes?
used to do night cycling, will cycle from NUS to East coast, and through the city area with no traffic, super nice. just cycle all the way, making detours for food, ... estimate about 40km. that one can go 30km/h no problem.
if the mrt is like 5km away, and you are doing 30km/h, and no traffic, will take about 10 minute, no problem

Cut through the landed property is enough.

why do you need more than 1pr of shoes?
i agree i overestimated the time. however, to take 1 hr to get to 5 mrt stations (less than 8km) is not on. an average runner can cover 10km in 1 hr.
at 30km/h, sometimes i get passed easily by other riders. some older than i.
so, i add 15mins to my estimated cycle time and eagle take it down 30mins. i think 30mins to cycle 5 mrt station is very conservative liao.
Australia allows citizens to have dual citizenship.
Most of them never really leave Australia for good. There's an option to return home.

most complaint i hear is
COE, ERP - then dun buy a car if u cant afford it
Tv Licence - , write in to them and say u dont have a tv. U dont need crap local programming. I did not own one when i was in singapore, as i mostly rent movies from DVD to watch on computer
Town council tax - This understandable as they upgade and beautify your area
How about the 7% GST you're paying to supposedly 'help the needy'?
You are not exempted from the TV license as long as you even have a radio at home. Even a radio-enabled handphone counts. You said 'crap local programming', by the way. Another sign why Singapore isn't green-pasture enough.

judging by what they're going through, i would say their defination is correct when they said its for helping the needy![]()

If you like SG sooooooooo much.. and you discourage others from joining the outbound club.
WHY don't you make a good example.. and GIVE UP your Australian citizenship and BECOME a SINGAPOREAN once again ???
Come back be PR ?????.. talk bigger cock than LKY !!!!
JUST BECAUSE YOUR SPOUSE IS A AUSSIE DOESN"T MEAN YOU MUST BECOME ONE TOO.
What a farktard.. good thing Australia is stupid enough to take you in.

SPLIT SECOND did mentioned about working with the prcs and indians in melbourne, well, i can understand how he feels about it especially when these foreigners in Melbourne are making lives miserable for other foreigners.
but if SS is still young, why not go back to sg, slog for a afew more years and then move to somewhere else or back to oz?

The influx of foreigners has potential drastic effects on the resident society.
Foreigners making life hard for u as a foreigner is worst than a foreigner making life hard for u as a local.
They do bring about this "clique" mentality. If given a choice, i would like to work in Adelaide or Tasmania where the environment is more conducive.People are nice too
In fact in OZ, it is so diverse between different states that the environment varies. In capital cities like melbourne and sydney working class people, its more of a busy lifestyle and people are stressed , when they are, they tend to be rather unfriendly or keep to themselves.
So what difference it makes if i come to s'pore and work? Foreigners as well, and it could be even worst as there are no workplace ethics and laws in sg.
But on the other hand, U will have singaporeans as your khaki who may agree with yr opinions and ideas.

While 2 migrate to AUSTRALIA,one leave
Again,it is about perception, reality and figures.
I am not saying Oz is no good.
But is it fair when u say it is damn good in Oz,
why dunt u tell the reality?
But i suspect how many people know
While 2 migrate to AUSTRALIA,one leave.
Among those leave, half were born in Australia!!
below--while 2 join Oz.But another one leave.
5.1 PERMANENT ARRIVALS AND PERMANENT DEPARTURES, Australia
below---among those leave, half born in Oz!!
5.3 PERMANENT DEPARTURES, Australia - Country of birth

My point----
if oz is so damn good, why 60,000 leave in a year?
,,,
Not one public hospital in NSW is operating at a safe occupancy level
pl read below!
Hi,i am the one posted the graphs and says Two In.One Leave.
While 2 migrate to AUSTRALIA,one leave.
Among those leave, half were born in Australia!!
below--while 2 join Oz.But another one leave.
I dunt have too much official info of their profiles.
Pl share with me if u have.
@@@@@@@@@@@
Pl take note half of the leavers were born in Oz.
They should known Oz prettty well.
But to be fair, the pull factors may be much bigger the push factors.
The latter usually is bad!!
Bu unforuntely,i always see the push factors in Oz medias.
The oz jouralists shall not anti--oz.Right?
of course u have to discount some reports involving in politics
between ruling and opposition parties,or Labor Unions
and Industrial Relationship--oz calls IR!!
@@@@@@@@@@
Health Matters!!
I dunt write too much.
Just do your home work.Good luck.
U should vote against SG Health Minister if he runs SG health
sys like this. But i am doubt u have any pretext not to support this
Malaysian born Buddist. He just said ytd to put forward the once
postponded Jurong Hospital construction. In 7 years,
together with Yishun new hospital, two new hospitals
costing over 1 billions will be completed.
There is no bad time under PAP.In bad time, build and build to create
more jobs.Unlike other 'poor' country or state in First World,
they have to cut back spending or sell forefathers' assets!!

SG Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan--bad time is good for building
hospital --cheaper!!
NSW hospitals not safe: Australia Medical Association
November 12, 2008 - 11:34AMAdvertisementNatasha WallaceNot one public hospital in NSW is operating at a safe occupancy level with Royal Prince Alfred, Royal North Shore and Gosford hospitals singled out today by the Australian Medical Association as performing particularly poorly.
Royal Prince Alfred operated at 95 per cent occupancy and Royal North Shore at 92 per cent, while Gosford even reached 110 per cent at times, the AMA's national report card, released today, said.
The internationally recognised safe level is 85 per cent before patient care is compromised.
