Many times, you want to save money but you lack the discipline. When you and your friends sign up for this cause, you will have good and strong motivation not to spend! You will save a tremendous amount of money by the time this is over. You can encourage each other and remind each other of the commitment not to spend to lower the cost of living for all.

I was just with a property agent and he said that there was a parcel of land last month the bank valuation was $7.5million and this month, after just one month, the valuation is $6million.
Cheaper by $1.5 million in just one month.

The damned despots lost billions, maybe a hundred billion bailing out foreign banks... and the money could have been used to "pay for teachers and schools to help our young escape poverty traps" to "pay for medical care of our aged" use as "social spending money" but instead, they gave it on a silver platter to foreigners supporting the foreign banks.
So "No More. STOP, Enough is Enough" Dishonorable despots cannot be trusted. They are gambling addicts that will lose everything.
No more giving them the people's hard earned money.
The people must take immediate action and STOP all spending immediately. Even though spending $20 is meaningless to you, the spending must stop for the greater good. $20 is meaningless to you but when a million people spend $20 a day, less that is $20 million less a day.
When sustained, with the help and cooperation of your friends and the friends of your friends, the high cost of living will come down!
Look at COE coming down when people stop buying cars. The prices of other things will like COE, come down.
GST cut might be meaningless to you, but if a nillion people pay 2% less GST that will add up to something.

Individuals doing it will not have the same effect as everyone making a determined effort to stop spending even if they are rich and confident of their jobs in order for the high cost of living to come down.
The poorer among us will find life more bearable.
