for example, ang mo kio. is SDP, WP, whatever P, all going to run there?
my impression is that it is usually one opposition, PAP, and maybe some independent.

Anything but PAP definitely.
If only the late JBJ was still secretary general of WP, I would vote for the WP.. Honourable man with practical ideas for S'poreans. Unlike the toothless Low Thia Kang now. Sit in parliament enjoy aircon. But who can blame him ma.. Or even Chiam See Tong. They're good fellers, just gotta toe the line before MM kicks the bucket..
SDP also a good party.. we shall see how it goes la. PAP controls everything what. Where got election campaigning only 8 days? Ballots with serial numbers? Fair?

I vote for the party that can reduce university free and send the PRCs talents back to PRC. I admit, I can't compete with them!

It depends.. on who is running in my constituency. If it is a good opposition team from a party that has a cohesive and constructive platform, can consider, but if it's some motley crew, definitely PAP.
