But they gained in another way, Visa clearance from Singapore to US.

to clarify, for JC, all scholarships are bond free for foreigners, and that's according to the gahment's vision of "attracting and encouraging these foreign students to stay in singapore, and eventually become singapore-trained FTs"

What i like about china chinese is that they are damn f**cking evil.. They only loyal to china... they will never be loyal to singapore... its always the same.. take a look at the table tennis issue.. The best story I heard of those elites scholars was the one about NTUC taxis, told to me by NTUC taxi drivers.
In the initial investment, NTUC invested some Taxis in China, it's on a lease basis, these taxis have GPS system installed on them.
They managed to lease out all the Taxis, after first day of operation, NTUC never saw their Taxis ever again.
Those that leased the Taxis, paid rental deposit, remove the GPS, drove to another province and sold off the new NTUC Taxis.
Obviously this is not possible in Singapore, you drive to Jurong or Sengkang (charlize's area), they can still find you.
This is using local Singaporean mentality and applied on big country China.
How bright are these scholars and elites?
