Let me quote from the US Declaration of Independence:

Wow, didn't know that America was founded on communism ideology? Or maybe your idea, the common perception, of communism is flawed.

Its called a constitutional republic that respects the inherent right to liberty that human beings have.
Sadly, all forms of government today are statist and authoritarian.
