BANGKOK - TWO coffins and an unexploded grenade were found outside the home of a politician who switched allegiances in the battle to form Thailand's next government, as rival political groups stepped up their campaign to woo supporters. The opposition Democrat Party meanwhile continued to insist on Tuesday that it has enough support in Parliament to name its leader, Mr Abhisit Vejjajiva, as the country's fifth prime minister in little over two years.
this is going to be never ending with both side not accepting defeat!!!..cannot imagine what would it be like if it is Spore...
Thailand is a strong country with strong instituitions and a strong private sector with strong thinking individuals.
When the initiatives are coming from each and every individual of a country, you have a strong country that can handle any stress.
So.... so what if the politicians are sidelined for a while in order to stop a despot from taking power?
Do you think a next would be a "cleaner person" than his predecessor? Or will his opposition try to topple him again and ground of corruptions and set another round of riot & chaos in Thailand? Since the beginning of Rome would politics are not about money? No matter how strong one country’s economic, people can be, the commoners will continue to live in poverty when there are continue & prolong political turmoil & chaos.

Do you think that the Thai people are silliporeans that get fooled so easily and they would "set another round of riot & chaos in Thailand" for flimsy reasons or propaganda? If the new administration is despotic, I am sure the Thais will not stand for it like sheepiporeans.
sheesh... you are thinking in terms of silliporeans, not Thais.
I sure Thais do stand up...in their red light districts. If the country is so strong, the common folk don’t have sell/send their children to prostitution to earn a living or is it just a hobby?
At least we are silly making a decent living...silly shopping...silly holidaying
this is just a transition period and when it is over, thailand will become stronger and better manage country than before.
this is what a true democratic society should be like.
i hope it does happen to singapore one day when time can caught up with the party that run country like your own family business.
lol..
we'll see how teh election goes. I give it less then a year before shit goes bad , then have constructive argument or debate with AndrewPKYap. ;p
It is a transition period, but i'm rather skeptical about whether it's actually going to be strong and better managed.
Quite frankly, i don't see the actions of the PAD as a symbol of a democratic society. I only see a mob.

Actually their daughters (a small percentage) sucker the silliporeans... yes, suck and sucker them... you have no idea how many idiotic silliporeans go over to Thailand for military attachment and end up if not marrying a Thai hooker then lose a fortune to them...
...the stories I heard when I was in Bangkok, now I think about it, it is so funny..... ROFLMAO
