For someone who is so hell bent on discrediting the western democracies, your reliance on data from western democracies is extremely abhorrent.
Since you claim that Singapore's GDP per capita is Top 10, alot higher than Hong Kong's.
Why is the pay of an Ambulance Officer in Hong Kong two times that of Singapore???
Maybe it's because the Ministers and the politburo is taking a huge chunk of the GDP thus depriving the ordinary folks.
GDP per capita is a yardstick to measure the standard of living in a country (it is not a 100% "lionnoisy proof method" (foolproof), but, Singapore's standard fails miserably by comparison.
1st World Prices at 3rd World Salaries (mainly from importing lots of foreign labour to drive down the wages of ordinary Singaporeans).
Generally, the salary in Hong Kong is much higher than Singapore, despite our equivalent GDP per Capita. This is because of Singapore government's policy of not recognising the contributions of the lower wage workers. High pay for Ministers while low pay for workers.
The crime rates for Hong Kong is only slightly higher (0.3%) than that of Singapore.
I wonder what is the pay structure for ambulance officer in Singapore.

can u go to road side in Central .TST--Tsim Sha Shui or Causeway Bay
and suck in few deep breath and come back,if u can ,and share?
A chained fast food shop cost u HK $21 for breakfast and HK $27
for lunch or dinner.
HK housing is well known lah.check out here
