I was referring to the incident in 2007...
But since you're on the subject, Iran has always been a focus for imperial ambitions because of its geostrategic position. In fact, WWI didnt start in Europe, but in Iran where the British made her first move.

The ancestors of these Israeli Arabs did not leave Israel when the War of Independence broke out. Some of these ancestors may still be alive today.
Those who left during that war thought that they could return after the 5-nation Arab Armies drive the Jews away, to benefit from the spoils of the war.

Does the name Sheikh Hassan Yousef ring a bell? He's a Hamas leader.
His son, Mosab Hassan Yousef , like many Arab children, was indoctrinated at an early age to hate Jews.
He realized the true nature of Hamas.He left his family and home in Ramalla.
He renounced his religion.

Yousef has sought asylum in the United States and now attends an evangelical Christian church in San Diego, Calif.
"The Hamas leadership, including my father, they're responsible; they're responsible for all the violence that happened from the organization. I know they describe it as reaction to Israeli aggression, but still, they are part of it and they had to make decisions in those operations against Israel (for) which there was the killing of many civilians."

That is a very important insight into Hamas.
A lot of people are quick to equate Hamas as a representative of the Palestinians when they are not. The Israelis have to react when Hamas terrorists start lobbing rockets into Israel from the Gaza strip, and sad to say, the Palestinians who live there suffer.
The Palestinian Authority have shown that they have no capability to stop Hamas from carrying out attacks on Israel from the Gaza strip. Any country responsible for the protection of their citizenry will react against these attacks.
Its important to realize that Hamas is the problem here. Its not the Palestinians, its not the Israelis or the Palestinan Authority. Its Hamas.

This is a continuation of Proxy war between Iran vs israel. I see it as an extension of iranian foreign policy in the region. . We see similar tactics deployed by Hamas as with the Herzbolla. Put its own citizen as human shield.
The Arab league is not too thrill with the connection with Iranian influence either.
If you are Israel you would not accept any missile sitting in GAZA.
