Is it too hard for Herzbollah to hand over 2 kidnapped soldiers?
Too bad the British didnt bomb the shit out of Iran when Iranian forces detained British sailors.
Why did the Herzbolla refuse to return 2 'lowly Israeli soldiers' to test whether Israel would honour her words to avoid the the conflict?
Bargaining chip.

That doesnt make sense. I was asking why were you using the term "self-hating Jew". Obviously, this "self-hating Jew" is under the nickname NEWater just like you, [insert epithet], have the nickname "googoomuch". Just because he criticises Israel, he has to provide all his personal details?

I agree. "Palestinians" are just Arabs that the Arab countries dont care about.
Too bad the British didnt bomb the shit out of Iran when Iranian forces detained British sailors.
As the first glimmer of dawn lit the misty horizon on the morning of August 25, 1941, the HMS Shoreham trained her forward gun battery on the Iranian warship Palang, which was moored peacefully at an Abadan pier. A moment later, a shell slammed into the Palang, the explosion engulfing the vessel in a ball of fire and smoke. As the listing warship settled into the river mud, British and Soviet armies stormed across Iran's borders-commencing perhaps the most dramatic and controversial untold episode of World War II.
Attacked without provocation, neutral Iran suffered her own "Pearl Harbor" three months prior to the United States' more famous Day of Infamy.
Iran's army was crushed, her monarch was overthrown, the beleaguered Red Army was saved from defeat, a German conquest of the Persian Gulf oil fields was thwarted, and the conditions were created for the opening showdown of the Cold War... Few incidents of World War II relate more directly to the current crisis in the Persian Gulf than those described in this book. Sunrise at Abadan explains how -- more by accident than -- design the Anglo-Soviet invasion drew the United States deeply and inextricably into the affairs of Iran...

The British rejoiced at the safe return of the sailors. ![]()
I was referring to the incident in 2007...
But since you're on the subject, Iran has always been a focus for imperial ambitions because of its geostrategic position. In fact, WWI didnt start in Europe, but in Iran where the British made her first move.

The Israelis must have been calling them pussies. Resorting to diplomacy when they've got such big guns.

What move?

The ancestors of these Israeli Arabs did not leave Israel when the War of Independence broke out. Some of these ancestors may still be alive today.
Those who left during that war thought that they could return after the 5-nation Arab Armies
drive the Jews away, to benefit from the spoils of the war. ![]()

However, they are treated as second class citizens.
Does the name Sheikh Hassan Yousef ring a bell? He's a Hamas leader.
His son, Mosab Hassan Yousef , like many Arab children, was indoctrinated at an early age to hate Jews.
He realized the true nature of Hamas. He left his family and home in Ramalla.
He renounced his religion.
The story just get better and better.
He converted to Christianity! ![]()
Yousef said that the Hamas can kill his body, but not his ideas and opinions, or even his soul.
Here is a self-hating Hamas who has a face and a name.
He's a self-hating Hamas who has left Hamas?

As Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and other world leaders try to broker a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas, one former member of the militant Islamic organization said there will never be lasting peace between the two groups.
"There is no chance. Is there any chance for fire to co-exist with the water?" said Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of one of the group's founding members.
Yousef added: "It's not about Israel, it's not about Hamas: it's about both ideologies."
Yousef, son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, one of the most influential leaders of the militant group, said the organization betrays the Palestinian cause and tortures its own members.
Hamas, formed in the late 1980's as an outgrowth of the Palestinian branch of the radical Muslim Brotherhood, is considered a terror organization by the U.S. government. Hamas seized power in the Gaza strip in 2007 in a violent coup against the more moderate Palestinian Authority led by Mahmoud Abbas.
Yousef said he was indoctrinated at an early age to use violence to challenge Israeli control in the region. As a teenager he moved up within the organization and became the leader of the radical Islamic Youth Movement that fought Israeli tanks and troops in the streets, celebrated suicide bombings and recruited young men to the cause.
Yousef, 30, said he realized the true nature of Hamas and radical Islam during a stint in an Israeli prison. He renounced his Muslim faith, left his family behind in Ramallah and converted to Christianity.
"Islam is not the word of God," said Yousef. "If you want to be offended it's your problem. But you know something? Go study. Think for a second that I might be right. So wake up, look at your path, see where you're going. Are you really going to heaven with 72 virgins after you kill yourself and kill another 20 people?"
Yousef has sought asylum in the United States and now attends an evangelical Christian church in San Diego, Calif.
"The Hamas leadership, including my father, they're responsible; they're responsible for all the violence that happened from the organization. I know they describe it as reaction to Israeli aggression, but still, they are part of it and they had to make decisions in those operations against Israel (for) which there was the killing of many civilians."
Yousef talks more about his extraordinary story of faith, courage, violence and betrayal in a FOX News documentary, "Escape From Hamas," hosted by Bill Hemmer.
Escape from Hamas airs Sat at 10p, with repeats at 1am and 4a, EST, and Sun at 9pm, with repeats at 12 midnight, 2am, EST.
That is a very important insight into Hamas.
A lot of people are quick to equate Hamas as a representative of the Palestinians when they are not. The Israelis have to react when Hamas terrorists start lobbing rockets into Israel from the Gaza strip, and sad to say, the Palestinians who live there suffer.
The Palestinian Authority have shown that they have no capability to stop Hamas from carrying out attacks on Israel from the Gaza strip. Any country responsible for the protection of their citizenry will react against these attacks.
Its important to realize that Hamas is the problem here. Its not the Palestinians, its not the Israelis or the Palestinan Authority. Its Hamas.
This is a continuation of Proxy war between Iran vs israel. I see it as an extension of iranian foreign policy in the region. . We see similar tactics deployed by Hamas as with the Herzbolla. Put its own citizen as human shield.
The Arab league is not too thrill with the connection with Iranian influence either.
If you are Israel you would not accept any missile sitting in GAZA.
