  Washington Post belittle PAP 50 years ruling & achievement by distort SG GDP ranking

  Why did Washington Post commit this GDP mistake?

  SG secondary student can tell u that GDP at PPP is much better

  than GDP at foreign exchange rate to calculate and rank GDP and GDP per capita

  of any countries.Thats why CIA dunt bother to show GDP per capita

  at foreign exchange rate.CIA only show GDP at PPP!!

  Why did Washington Post use the GDP at foreign exchange rate

  to show SG GDP,at 31 st in the world?

  ''Economic output per person is more than $27,000, 31st in the world and way ahead of its neighbors,''

  If WP use GDP at PPP,SG is not just the 8 th!!

  The countries ahead of SG falls into two groups.

  One is with small population of less than one million.

  Another with natural resources.Singapore is neither!!

  WP had 3 options--

  The best--.List out both rankings.

  The worse---list the GDP at PPP.

  the worst---list the GDP ranking at foreign exchange rate.

  WP took the worst option!!

  The only explantion is WP want to belittle the 50 years achievement of this little

  red dot under one party ---PAP .

  They are almost crazy that Singapore do not follow other countries which

  have been ruled under one Party for long time.Development of Singapore

  is simply do not follow the text book of Freedom and Democracy and Alternative

  Ruling!!

  What they have been taught since baby is any country ruled long term

  under one Party is no good.They just think of--

  Country----GDP ranking at PPP from CIA

  Cuba---94 th from 1959 till now(PAP also ruling SG since 1959!!)

  PRC(mainland)---132 th from 1949 till now

  Taiwan(island)----40 th from 1959 till now

  USSR---(Russia 75 th)from 1911 to circa 1991

  Vietnam----168 th including south portion since mid 1970's

  etc etc

  Ranking is not everything

  Ranking cant fill the stomach.The hidden agenda of WP is more interesting.
