When reading ST, try converting We or Singaporeans to PAP.

For some reason, every time any one of the PAP people starts speaking, my mind automatically convert the words I, we, us, you, Singapore, Singaporeans, etc. all to the word PAP. Also, whenever they talk about the oppostions, covert the negative to positive. When I do so, everything that is being said make a lot of sense.
E.g.
1) "CPF had served Singaporeans well" (does not make sense)
becomes
"CPF had served PAP well". (make sense)
2) "I feel rich looking at my CPF statements every month" (does not make sense)
becomes
"We in PAP feels rich looking at our CPF statements every month" (make sense).
3) "It is for your own good" (does not make sense)
becomes
"It is for PAP's good" (make sense).
4) "There is a conspiracy to do us in" (does not make sense)
becomes
"There is a conspiracy to do PAP in" (make sense)
5) "You know, the cure for all this talk is really a good dose of incompetent government. You get that alternative and you'll never put Singapore together again: Humpty Dumpty cannot be put together again... and your asset values will disappear, your apartment will be worth a fraction of what it is, your jobs will be in peril, your security will be at risk and our women will become maids in other people's countries, foreign workers." (does not make sense)
becomes
"PAP know that the cure for all this talk is really a good dose of alternate government. If the citizens get that alternative, we will never put Singapore together again the way we want it: Humpty Dumpty cannot be put together again... and PAP's asset values will disappear, PAP's apartment will be worth a fraction of what it is, PAP's jobs will be in peril, PAP's security will be at risk and PAP's women will become maids in other people's countries, foreign workers." (make sense)

I also observed that every few weekends when there are activities organized with help of RC members, many residents support and many RC members also.somemore businesses sometimes also somehow sponsor some of the activities things like free food, loud speakers, etc.
I am also seeing many china-born new residents taking part.
Like this how to lose?
I think many are commenting in forums like this but really these are the minority when you consider the total population.

don't forget that there are the older generations who still think that PAP is good because they give handouts before elections. which other country in the world gives money out before elections? no one. therefore, the PAP is good.
