can aus sleep after earning so much money from poor international students?
But does Australia have international and moral obligations as a member of international
community?
international education
carries international as well as moral obligations and responsibilities. One of these obligations
or responsibilities is to ensure that international students are treated equally and fairly and that
the long cherished ethos of Australian ”fair go‘ becomes part of their international experience.

So you made a bad decision man, let it go.
That's 'fair go' if you're an Australian citizen or PR.
I'm assuming you're referring again to your failed attempts to obtain PR. Did anybody ever imply that expensive education came with a pathway to PR? If you or your parents did not agree to the amount for your education then why did you pay it? Australian universities offered you a stated service at a stated price, and you agreed to pay it. Did they not deliver on something? Are you not willing to be responsible for your financial decisions?
Welcome to capitalism.

nobody hold a gun to your head and force you to come with A$100k wah..
I see you posting again about this issue. I think you seriously misunderstood or assumed that by being an international student, you get a good chance to become a PR. It is never promised, implied, or included in the package, directly or indirectly, that an international student should get a better chance to be a PR. I am sorry but this is your own fault. This is your own personal perception, which is inaccurate, stop trying to create an issue where there is none.

International students not treated fairly in Australia?
Some of my friends who studied there used to tell me it's very happening over there.
ahahahaha..
i go to the country to study, suddenly the country has a moral obligation to wipe my ass for me?
ahahahahahahahah!!!
Words such as 'obligation', 'rights', 'right' can only be used in unison with words like self-interest, profit and economic gain.
sorry 2 say that Aus graduates have the less respect in SG and the Chinese wrd as they r lazy and i.
We have a lot of Aus g but we cant employe them, think twice b4 u want 2 study in Aus.
Good luck Aus G!!!!

B>S......u are full of it....
don't understand what's your problem. the students money goes towards paying for their education and the australian universities provide the education. the government or country does not even come into the picture other than providing the student entry during the time of study ( after consideration).
what international and moral obligations? what fair go? and most importantly, what brains are you having in your head?
Ah ?
So the Australian Gahmen should give all international male tourists a "Fair Go" at teh Australians chicks. Is.. that what you're sayin ?
Get real.. dude.
I just heard a story, this afternoon, about how a PRC student was charged $7000 + $1000 to help him find a place in a government school... and with these type of scams going on here, why bother to ask "morality" questions about Australian education?
Hehehe......
Australia protects the rights of her citizens, unlike Singapore, import PRC & India en masse to deprive her citizens.
This is like going to somebody's house and demand the rights to everything in their house as if it's yours.

Australia sucks lah... I'm going there today. Not looking forward... why want to go there? I think there are better places in the world - phuket for one. I've been a PR since 1990... and I still look forward to singapore's buzz.

With all due respect, your degree didn't teach you much.

yah, grad with a degree, congrats. how good is the school? graduating from a uni of low calibre will be something like... poly level here?
If australia don't let you become PR, there is only 2 ways of looking at it. Australia is the problem, or you are the problem. Already, Australia has proven to not be the problem for a large number of people.
Hmm - let's see.
I got my doctorate, plus professional registration to practice as a psychologist, was granted PR because my profession's on the skills-on-demand list, got a job that I like enough to turn down offers from competitors, and once in a while, I write research articles for top-tier academic journals with free travel thrown in to attend international conferences.
Ooh yeah, I've been hard done by. When am I going to get a fair go? ![]()
