Town Hall meeting prepare for evcaution??
Mr Adamson was among about 400 people who packed the memorial hall in Yarra Glen for a community meeting this morning.(09 Feb Monday)
As fear and frustration simmered among the crowd, at times hostile questions began to be fired at emergency services speakers.
However, Mr Adamson stepped to the stage and told his community that now was a time for unity not blame.
The crowd listened as he told them what he'd been through and seen.
They applauded when he told the hall there was only so much the CFA, SES and police could do and that people had to be patient.
"The ones who lost a home just be thankful you've got your own life," he said.
Outside the hall, as neighbours patted him on the back and shook his hand, Mr Adamson said the community had to pull together to get through the disaster and its aftermath.---EOQ

People wait anxiously at the Police road block at MacIntyre Lane and Melba Highway, Yering on Sunday morning.
11.46AM UPDATE: There is still a significant fire threat to the Yarra Valley, according to Yarra Region CFA.
CFA spokesperson Geoff Deacon said there were still fires active within the region.
Healesville police said the Black Spur was now closed to traffic and McIntyre Lane was open to people returning to their properties but no other vehicle access was allowed.
10.45AM UPDATE: TRAFFIC access to Yarra Glen via Melba Highway and McIntyre Lane has been closed again.
Police could not confirm when access would be reopened.
Rochford Wines has confirmed that today’s Simply Red concert has been cancelled.
Concert organiser Chrissy Camp said local police, CFA and state government officials met this morning and advised that the current weather situation was too unpredictable for the concert to proceed.
``The safety of patrons could not be guaranteed,’’ Ms Camp said.
``Promoters are making every attempt to reschedule the concert,’’ she said.
9.30am EMERGENCY public meetings are to be held this morning for fire-affected families while tourists are being urged to stay away from the Yarra Valley as communities start to count the cost of last night’s devastating fires.
Public meetings will be held at Healesville Memorial Hall at 10am and at the Yarra Centre in Yarra Junction at 11.30am.
Lilydale police Constable Ilona Gerencser said people should not drive into the Yarra Valley
Constable Gerencser advised anyone with tickets for Rochford Wines’ Day on the Green that the concert was cancelled.
``People should call Rochford management if they have any queries,’’ Constable Gerencser said.
Up to 6000 people were expected to attend today’s concert by Simply Red.
Healesville Sanctuary has been closed today as staff evacuated animals to safer locations.
Communications manager Judy Robertson said the sanctuary’s priority was protecting the animals, especially the mountain pygmy possums and helmeted honeyeaters, both critically endangered species.
Greyhound Racing Victoria has cancelled today’s Healesville meeting
The CFA has advised that fire burning on the south east side of Warburton Hwy in the Brittania Creek area is currently a risk to residents.EOQ

Getty Images © [Enlarge photo]The death toll from Victoria's weekend bushfires has risen to 131 and an urgent threat message has been issued for more communities this afternoon.
A wind change this afternoon is causing the huge fire in the Latrobe Valley to flare up along its northern edge and authorities have issued an urgent threat message to residents in the area, telling them it is too late to try and leave.
Residents of Stanley, Bruarong, Dederang, Gundowring, Kancoona, Coral Bank, Glenn Creek and Running Creek, Kergunyah, Eskdale, Yackandandah and Little Snowy Creek are at risk.
Stuart Ord of the Department of Sustainability and Environment says all towns in the surrounding areas need to stay on alert for spot fires.
"The fire hasn't made any particular dramatic run," he said.
"It's not particularly threatening in any serious way at any towns but certainly there is active uncontrolled fire ahead so people in that area need to stay on alert."....
