This critical time requires change, and it is bad news for the ruling party for the next generaton of Singaporeans to be hung up on Obama.
The Singapore Ruling Party had always preferred the US Republican Party to be in the Presidency than the Democrats - and even The Old Man had laughed at the chances of Obama succeeding in his quest to the White House.
It is certainly time for change - especially after 40 over years of autocratic rule that imposes itself onto Singaporeans by any ways and means to win the election process that is geared in their own favor.
It is even more urgent that change should occur when this Ruling Party prefer to rule in secrecy and refuses to be transparent even in the ways our reserves are managed.
