I have this strange feeling that the US is getting "protectionistic" but not using the traditional means but by manipulating "market" forces and because they control the "paper markets" or "derivatives" and their Googles and Microsofts are basically selling intellectual properties, they can succeed!!!
So whether or not the US stimulus work or not, it might work for the US but not for the rest of the world.
What this means also is that gambling nations, "read: sovereign wealth funds" will be targeted for them to lose their money.
...and the cursed despots put "ang mos" in charge of gambling the country's reserves! hahahaha what despotic idiots! and what silliporeans!!!!

Think about it. When parliment wants to use the money, prata man has to "approve".
When the "ang mos" want to gamble with the money, prata man has no say!!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAA...
a whole nation of fools scammed by cursed despots
So be it, we like what we vote and we like what we chose, CANNOT MEH???

No. I was just saying that we should stay away from U.S. dollar. But to go for any other form of assets (yuan, yen, baht, gold, metals, stocks, property, etc) is another story.
And what I meant for Chinese money saving the world is China is spending the dollars it had hoarded for years and converting them into assets.
My speculation could be wrong because things are changing so rapidly.
Thats another entire issue altogether. What I am simply saying is that Republicans, being conservatists, generally do not believe in intervening in the economy and giving out welfare. They condemn protectionism; which is what Obama is trying to do by banning the use of foreign steel. Their differences towards economic policies is the firm divide that causes them vote against the bill.
Its like, I plan a 1000-page bill. I introduce them this evening and we vote on it tomorrow morning. How the hell is anyone able to read through all the details of it? If there is anyone playing punk, its the Democrats who are literally saying, "Screw you republicans, we are in control now, and we do as we damn well please. This process of voting is just for show cos we control an absolute majority anyway - end of discussion, no future debates."
This kinda decision making process is dangerous!
Very informative, thanks.
US$ will be worthless soon

I don't see anything in the post you quote that says anything about admitting you are wrong though, but that doesn't matter anymore.
As for my "petty response", it was an appropriate one for some guy who accused me baselessly, ain't it?
I have already explained the simple phrase, so end of discussion.
Apology accepted.
Nope, for your 'explainations', seems like you are confused between your "conspiracy theory" accusation and "conspiracy" analogy.

Really ?
The currency is still holding up at above 1.5 as of now ... It is still better than the 1.4 a few months ago ... Could it be that the money in the package has not gone into action yet ....
The US$787b needs some time before it can take effect.

Nope, it is very clear. For the sake of extra clarity, you may ask again, which i am sure you have the courtesy of doing.
accusation is from you, not from me, do not be confused about that.
Be more specific. which part you don't understand?

Mugabe must be god of gods then.....inflation of 231000000%.
Even Bush can't do that no matter how hard he tries, if he does.![]()
Obama's ascent to Commander-in-Chief was hailed as a total revamp for the tatters of the Bush Administration, however, being charming and charismatic isn't going to haul him through the tough, demanding years of presidency. Neither is his stimulus plan going to work.
The Republicans are definitely not on his side, they are virtually against everything Obama puts in place, jumping into the opposite chair to the Democrats every time a bill is awaiting approval from the Senate. With no support, the entire administration is divided, giving the Stimulus plan no proper belief and faith from the authorities, despite their claims that it will work.
The sheer amount of money injected into the economy was daunting. How is Obama expecting to replenish that sum in 2013? The economy is still reeling from that rollercoaster ride last year, how is the US going to rally its way back and have their economy going strong, generating a 1.3 T profit in a mere 4 years? His optimism has been labelled as "wildly optimistic" by economists and whether his stimulus plan actually works remains to be seen. The US is shrouded in doubt and hold on to a flickering flame of hope as they look ahead at the treacherous seas surrounding their boat led by their captain Barack Hussein Obama.

What did you mean when you said this?

the GOD are those countries that bought the greenbacks, china, japan, korea, europe, asia and even russia peoples and govts bought us treasury bonds, and if US dollars is to drop, God bless all, the economy will deepen further, therefore the GOD of these countries will uphold the US$$

I am not too sure that Buddah and Deities will agree with the angmo God to hold dollars that is why the euro and yen is stronger
