Let me see, I can envisage the campaign platform for the PAP if indeed there are to be snap polls, "we are seeking the mandate of the people to deal with the recession!" or "Don't change horses in mid-stream?"
Well as for the opposition, especially Dr Chee, he'll probably go the way of "Where is our 50 billion dollars?"
I'm a non-partisan, I just love watching fireworks, and observe all fun & games attached to every election. At the end of it, it'll usually bring about the same dramatics - A overwhelming PAP majority, Hougang the sole bastion of opposition representation, a few more bankrupts, a few more trips to the police station. Anyways, strap on ur seat belts gals and boys.. happy days are here to stay.

apparently some women enjoy it
That is why grandma voted PAP, and in singapore, there are more gals than guys, so what you expect, ask the opposition to change their name/logo to Kotex, maybe some gals will change ships

the last few, they distracted, attention-whored and detracted the whole elections away from the policies and all that and people were disgusted and disillusioned by the opposition just as much as the MIW... as a result, the MIW won...
now.. i hope and pray that the charlatans and attention whores stay the hell away and shut the hell up so that we can have a proper showing
Backing the bear on this statement. CSJ and cronies better stay the hell away.
THE TIME FOR CHANGE IS COMING!!!!
We must deal a blow to the political dominance of the PAP in the upcoming general elections.
If we do not do so, they will impose more rubbish policies in the future.
This is the task for all progressive Singaporeans.

Good luck........... You're gonna need it
Good luck........... You're gonna need it
If there are a lot of people with your mentality, then yes, opposition needs luck.

Fortunately, there are alot of people with my mentality, hence this kind of election results. So yeah, i guess the opposition need all the luck they can get
Fortunately, there are alot of people with my mentality,
It is not a progressive mentality, but passive and reactionary mentality, fostered by PAP.
But I don't blame you since from birth you have been brainwashed into this type of thinking by PAP propaganda.
All the political, intellectual thought, all the fighting spirit, all the fire, all destroyed, so no will to go for progressive cause.
That cannot be blamed.
errrrrrsssssss ......
i think it's changed... ...
it's changed to GE 2006
oppos should try to win a GRC first, to increase their voice in parliament. Relying on the current 3 is more ore less useless.
crisis is best time to hold general elections, boom is best time to claim credit. buy low, sell high. get it?

Tsk, ya hor, how can i be so cruel to you? I don't blame you since from birth you have been brainwashed into this type of thinking by CSJ propaganda.

With nothing left to say you accused me of being brainwashed? I can easily claim the same thing. Prove your points with logical reasoning and not rhetorics
Nothing will change... Potong Pasir will still be under Mr. Chiam, if he continues to remain in power... Hougang will remain under Worker's Party... but else where... nothing will change.
the people aren't ready for "BIG" change... small changes like decrease in bus fare or decrease in power supply bills, yes but change of government? nope. the people aren't ready yet.
by the way, there isn't a demand for a change of government like what is happening in Thailand... so, from what i see... no change...
With nothing left to say you accused me of being brainwashed? I can easily claim the same thing. Prove your points with logical reasoning and not rhetorics
You do not agree with my analysis?

yawn.... suggest something... Or do something... don't just whine about everything....
And personally, posting propaganda is not doing something in my opinion...
I suggest everyone to go and vote for opposition in the next general elections.

Brilliant suggestion.......
er... but they have not proved to be any more effective than the current crop of MPs here at Punggol...
Brilliant suggestion.......
But will you do it?
er... but they have not proved to be any more effective than the current crop of MPs here at Punggol...
Vote for them!
40 opposition MPs will make a difference.
Current crop worthless might as well vote for change.
Don't be brainwashed by PAP propaganda.
They put a mental block in your head to stifle you.
Free your mind.
