if we have an elections now, i think Mr LKY's fear of the day when PaP loses power because the public votes irrationally might just happen. the situation now is that things are moving so fast ie from boom to bust. So fast that the affected public might vote to express their confusion and anger at the sudden loss of direction. The big losses made by Temasek and GIC do not help to rally the people either. To make matters worse, H. Ching is related to Mr Lee and i am not sure the public is convinced that she is the right person for the job in the very first place. therefore, i bet there would not be any election anytime soon.
Elections coming again? Let's see how many WP officials vote for PAP this time round :)
