Some argue that companies should be given the right to employ the right ppl to make business viable and competitive.
Others argue that these are americans companies and they should protect americans first as this is no ordinary financial or economic meltdown.
The americans are facing the same problems that singapore face.
Personally, my take is to protect locals before foreigners in industry that locals cannot do or dont want to do. What is the pt of offering courses to retrain singaporeans if we dont start to clamp down on the foreigners import.
