Many participants described the rally as "a landmark event"Halfway across the world, as police moved in to break up a gay rights protest in Russia, another country known for being equally as restrictive on liberal ideals was holding its first gay rally undisturbed.
Some 2,500 pink-attired supporters of gay rights gathered in a park in Singapore on Saturday, to form a pink dot, which was photographed from a nearby building.

Dr Chee Soon Juan and friends get arrested for protesting the high costs of living........
Shows you the cursed despot and his cronies will not tolerate people protesting and trying to stop him taking massive amounts of public money...

This shows that the cursed despot and cronies will tolerate many things but not when Dr Chee Soon Juan and friends protest the amount of public money they keep grabbing, raising the cost of living in Singapore.

Too bad Chee not gay mah, he is tou gay. Singapore govt support gay group, especially the Chinese gay...that is why every year they got a festival for them. Called Chingay -
