So far I come across more nice ones than bad ones. But if the jobs they are doing can be done by our countrymen, I rather the jobs be given to our fellow countrymen.

sure, they helps us to have jobs and some even helps to keep our sg uncles happy and youthful.

They should import more foreign talents, because more foreign talents helps us to reduce the unemployment rate for citizens, if they import another 1 million foreign taents, Singapore's unemployment rate could be 0%.

Singapore also have to divide it citizens into 2 groups,
Singapore Talent and Singapore non Talent so as to match up with foreign talents and workers.

As an American who has visited SG many times, I am glad these discussions are taking place. It is healthy to ask such questions. I hope to one day be an SG FT if I am so lucky, but only for one purpose: the help SG become a better or brighter light as the the USA/America dims. I am not down on my country, but I see the signs that we are becoming indifferent and lazy. We no longer teach "the American spirit" in our schools.
Can FT help SG? I think so, but the FT's have to realize that the F stands for foreign and act accordingly. SG is a grand place made so by its people and culture, many good, some not so good. But all that is what I like about SG.

We Hate FT or foreigner who see no up on their own country, we only like FT or foreigner who like their own country no matter if it is up or down.
Cos those who see no future in their own country are usually coward that is scare of helping their own countrymen, by coming here to enjoy the fruit of success make by the peoples here, we believe that one day, when the times are bad, you will also condemn this place too.

Angel, well I see rudeness is not just a Western attribute. Sorry you don't repsect other's opinions, but I am a pragmatist. While I love my country, I don't see it with "rose-colored glasses." If that offends you, so be it. Calling people cowars without knowing anything about them is usually a sign of inferiortiy complex.

So, it should apply to you if you wanna come here.
From my experience with FTs, they not only come here to work. They work with us, although same position as us but they looked down on us!If FTs are here merely for work, they should respect our culture and people. If they intend to convert into SG Citizens, then be more humane and integrate into our society. Not come here with a mentality that you come here as a boss to make us work for you.
