  I think the harm caused by the abolishment of dialects in the public media is really trivial as compared with the social engineering and brainwashing on the people. That has caused Singaporeans to become one-dimensional thinking beings ill prepared for the challenges of the future.

  Eh, this thread about NMPs or dialects?

   

  I am surprised Jocelyn Yeo is in the list.

   

  Goes to show that they like to wayang to make it look like Parliament is represented by a diverse group of people.

   

  Anyway, NMPs (or even normal MPs) can talk all they want in Parliament, usually the people at the top don't really listen since they have already made the decision.

  Ya, no wonder most of them are snoring...ZZzzz.zzzZZZzzz...last time i did ask one of my customer who come to my pub often, he works in mediacork, he told me, u notice the camera only once face the president or the chief justice, after that, it will shoot on the upper house only

  and if the camera man accidentally shoot on LKY or chief justice snoring LIVE,...the next morning he will be at the producer office collecting his last paycheck.
