I think they are at it again. I thot sometime back they complainted that Singaporean going there to shop makes their stuff more expensive. Now hey say lack of visitors got impact to their economic. Finger shooting and pointing again.
When will they stop complainting???!!!1 -
Uhh, how come the number of visitors to JB drop when it's the people coming into Singapore that kena checked?
Here's my theory... the number of pr0n VCD buyers from Singapore dropped dramatically because of the checks of people coming into Singapore.
Says a lot about what moves the JB economy

The US and the Australians have instructed Iraqi diplomats to close down their embassies in the respective countries.
Last week, the Philippines have also instructed several "questionable" Iraqi diplomats also to leave too.
Now, even Thailand has also got nervous with the Iraqi diplomats, and have also requested their mission to be shut down as well.
With the Malaysian Government trying so hard to show the Country to be a Modern and Progressive Islamic State, and opening their Country with easy visitation access to all persons from Islamic Nations - irregardless of the dubious reputations of the leaders of the countries concerned; this can only cause security problem for Singapore via the large volume of traffic that flows between the two countries.
Although we cannot criticize their soveriegn rights to their manner of governing their own security, we should not be less careful when looking after ourselves. -
The Malaysians always complain about Singapore anyways.
They also assured that Malaysian workers coming into Sinagpore are not terrorists right? Considering that Malaysia has its fair share of Al Maunah, KMM, JI and who knows what else, it is a bit disconcerting that Malaysia and UNNO Youth have the audacity to make such a didatic statements in these uncertain times. -

The CNA news showed how the 100 percent check was done to all motor bikes, and it was very very very thorough job.
To anyone who dream of trying to bring in any "contraband" and beat the Home Team - my advise is: "DON'T".
Helmets were checked for stuffed items, motor bike seats were lifted, tool bags checked, rags lifted up, battery compartment opened, underside of the lifted seats also felt for hidden items (weapons ?).
Kudos to the Home Team at the Immigration Checkpoints.
Next time when I go over and return to a long traffic line, I will wait patiently at the Causeway and let the Home Team do their job.
