so your friend was actually prepared to pay $858,000 for the same flat? your friend PR also?

Since PR so rich, why don't charges them a high Stamp Fee of about 30%. Another very questionable, how come they so much money?? can government check. one month 2k also cannot raise so much.

the buyers themselves don't know either, until later.
when prices go down, no difference if you bought the house to stay.
if you bought for investment, then it is your holding power that matters.
Buying properties should never be speculation, sure die, sooner or later.

they like to play pyschologically with you.
like diliberately saying someone offered 40k over valuation.
or when you are selling, say that a unit on the next block sell cheap.

never trust housing agent. they tell you how much higher they can sell your house, but never tell you you have to pay even higher price to buy another one. Trust them and you will lose the roof on your head.

Still see crazy cov of 50k or more in non mature estates.
Private property still looks strong despite measures.
No panic selling yet.

Not only they can play psycho game but they are expert in putting pressure on you, at the right time, at the right amt, to get the max out of you.
Like - if you are the seller, they like to bring a buyer, sit down with you and the seller and pressure hard on you to close the deal.
Finalise the deal and they can go on to the next prop transaction.
Frankly, SH you too young to go into this thing. Nvr, nvr go into this matter without an adult around you.
Concentrate on your studies, leave the adult business to the adults. Let yr mom and dad settle this business themselves.
When you can do is - take this opportunity to observe and see the adult world - learn something outside of the textbook experience.
