  Property buyers rushed to buy with high COV, and drive up property prices, now stressed?

  If they do, served them right.

  Now its time for those who need a roof over head to get married, to house parents...to pay a decent price!!!

  That is not the point.

  It is the hope that from now on those who need the house can take their time to work out their budget and decide on what they need and can afford, no worry about if i don't buy now i will have to pay a lot more later. Nobody would think they can make quick buck by buying and selling HDB flats. Those who bought for speculation purposes will now have to let go even if they make losses, a lesson for speculating on day to day necessity.

  what is a decent price?  a price you can afford for a unit you really need.

  Affordability is philosophy? hahaha....to some, if I have the cash means I can afford, to others, as long as the bank can loan me the money, I can afford, yet to some, as long as I can put the down payment, I can afford....life is a philosophy.
