MIW minister in charge of environment can get the simplest things like drains cleared(esp Katong area) want to kick up big fuss about other things in Parliament...
Just go outside and look at the drains and the ones near the road with metal grille and see if they are choked... i know my area is, still have miniature plant in the drain...

Nothing to support for one who is unable to come forward during a national crisis and waste time with petty argument with blogger and the other party.
They have done nothing to deserve the support.

Instead of wasting the time arguing over a few thousand, it is more important on recovering the hundreds of millions that was not accounted for.
It is time some one get his hand dirty to perform the investigation himself instead of appointing panels and committees that yield no findings and results in the end. (MRT trains are still breaking down this week....)
Cracks are already showing itself in the face with so many lapse of supervision.
So, it is oversight of the group that allow the individual to perform the act of crime.
But, given so many years to repent and change, nothing have improved and things have got worse.
Time to wake up as it can only get worse.....

tt day, WDL exchange open purporting "Green, Environment friendly" station w CEO, minister, everyone so happy at the ceremony, but little do they know of the grumblings on the ground...
I wonder if SMRT CEO take train during off peak hours and feel for himself how crowded it is?!
Old uncle took train with me alight at AMK coz train need to return BSH depot, was damn pissed.
The train stopped at AMK middle platform, half the lights out, Uncle very blur, i have to tell him muz change train...
He spoke to me in Hokkien SMRT people dunoe how to run rail service, see so many empty trains pass his station then one come can sit, now muz change at AMK...
Worse to come, when he boarded the city bound train with me, it was so crowded and as usual, no one gave up his seat for him...
I asked him if he want seat, find one for him, he said no need and keep on rambling about the lousy train service we have...
Haiz...
but he eventually got a seat at BSH -
