The US is going to start preparing to fight a long war. World War 1 started wif terrorism wif murder of President, World War 2 started wif Hitler's terrorist attack to gain territory. So World War 3 will come, mind u.
Every era so far, everybody got involved in war for some reason or other, so y muz our generation not experienced? God wil make it fair such that everyone will get to experience war.

but seriously,i just finished my in camp in june,and after the attack on the wtc,i can can truefully say that thank god that we have some pretty good people,equipment,training in our army.i was cursing at the training(at the same time having a great time meeting up with my old buddies)but its in times like this that you realise exactly how important the saf is to us.true, we complain about the amt of time it takes from us,from our NS time to our reservist ...,how f*&%$ up our training is,how unrealistic,how inexperience etc etc....but when see the scenes repeating itself on cnn,you start thinking...'heng!'....at least we have some army..
some may say that look at the us army,the most well trained ,most well equiped in the world,and still can happen to them.
probblem is that if someone wants to do it again,he can,he will and he will kill .someone already mentioned,not everyone is the same,be it in thoughts,feeling etc...
we look at it with disgust,the terrorist with pride.
in my next incamp,maybe i will do that weapon handling test a little bit more seriously now.... -
ya, this incident would give the 'instructers' hell lot of excuses to tekan us. Come to think of it, i can visualise my co's speech though...

Sex can improve stamina also hor. Ask your wife to help "train" u for your IPPT. If she don't want, say u go out find other "trainers."

It would be my opinion that you would be safer in an army, than in civilian life. The terrorist networks mostly look for targets that have no real political agenda, and cannot fight back. Such as attacking as stadium of people who are all unarmed.
They will leave military folks mostly alone, as they want to take the life from as many as they can. Military can fight back, and would not be an easy target. Those who are only peacefully living their lives are the easy targets.
